Very cool...My first bike was a 1974 Z1-900, the predecessor to the KZ line. 8)

DANG! I actually read the WHOLE thread first!
Bah,ive been riding Harleys my whole life,i like them alot but i dont need them to be cool,i dont care if i was riding a shitwagon,if i pull up & some other bikers try & come off on me over what im riding then fuk em.

I pulled up & parked at a biker bar last year riding my Panhead & some cool lookin guy riding a Road King asked me if my bike was a Big Dog,he didnt even know what a Panhead was, some biker:roll:

Dont be fooled by this nonsense guy's,ride what you own & be happy with what you have, its about getting in the wind not looking cool.
Thank you. I have to say that I get awfully sick of the snobbery I see and read from others about who made the scoot. Shut the FUCK up and RIDE, damn it.
JESUS FUCKING CHRIST...would you all quit...your acting like a bunch of little girls arguing over finger nail polish...were motorcycle people damn it...
Quoted for Truth. :D And I LOVE that cb of yours!
Just put up for sale (no price listed, serious inquiries only so you've gotta contact the realtor).

I got bitten last year, HARD. Used to ride horses, quads, loved boating, back injury fucked all that to hell. Then we got Dave his VTX (that I, ahem, "helped" select, more like insisted on), and I discovered that riding was helping me. Took about two weeks for me to realize I couldn't just make my husband bear the responsibility of giving me rides, what's to say I can't learn to ride myself? Two weeks after that I'd gotten my girl and my endorsement, and I haven't looked back.

I've put on about 5,500 miles since last July, with a couple of extended periods of no riding due to: Being rear-ended that September (they took a crowbar, pulled out the fender rail and off we rode to Santa Cruz); surgery that October that put me in the hospital for a second time; fixin' up the bike post-accident.

I ride a metric, and I am coming to appreciate ALL the different rides there are out there. However, I am most moved by old-school style choppers and the really old Indians (the Drifter is the closest thing to an older Indian I could ever afford, and don't think I won't try someday). I chose my bike based on being able to get the damn thing off the kickstand . Now that she's got some performance mods going on she gets a-goin' pretty good. I love how this bike can flick through the twisties like nothin'. I need to do something about the stock seat, though, because DAMN it sucks.

nice aero seamaiden :-P

I got rear ended on mine last year too.The rear tire took all the impact so all I had to replace was scratched up pegs and a clutch lever. The father of the girl who hit me wrote me a fat check because he didn't want me taking the claim to the insurance.
