Bitches getting too tall on me! need a flowering method fast

3 blue dream sativa dom clones. age unknown looks about 3-4 weeks from clone from a rather big mother.
they have been topped and transplanted one last time 2 days ago. i need to give them a week or so to recover before flipping. i have a damn 1000watt hps hood 4 FT high. the clones are already 2FT tall with the 7 gallon pots. should i LST and SCRog them? or do i have no choice lol? 20150506_185740.jpg

just grab the hole plant and bend it down or tie it down and let it grow back up repeat each time it gets to big or if u want inbox me and ill give u a run down on a few options on what u could do like scrog lst super or tipping or femming
 
Ok guys let me rephrase this. What is the best method and time to flower so she doesnt end up stretching too close to my 1000watt hps? If i keep on topping them which they have been topped twice yes she will bush out but when i flip to flower idk if blue dream will stretch too close to my 1000watt hps. If i flower now i dont think the cola's would stretch too close vs a more vigorous but bushed out plant? First time with blue dream and thanks for the advice

Scrog nets hold things down pretty well, and you can put them at whatever height you want. Using a second net above the first if needed is always possible too.
 
ok i just tied all of the high tops down in hopes to bush it out more. im gonna fabricate a wooden framed screen for the screen of green method. the next time i have to tie her down further i will be flipping to flower and hopefully have my screen by then. thanks guys. im just worried that by the time she is done stressing over the topping,and LST they might catch a growth spurt lol .my height is extremly limited to 3ft and 2". any higher and i will have to either dim down my HPS or buy a 600watt.
 
For those who didnt bother to read. They have been topped multiple times and tied down yesterday. My concern is if i let her grow too much longer because of stress teqniques bushed out or not she might stretch too close to my hps. Never grew blue dream so idk but i do know the longer i veg my plants the more they stretch in beginning of flower regardless of how much they bush out. However i believe im cutting it close and i will flip them within a week. If these plants stretch 3x i am screwed! I will be forced to supercrop everything below the canopy even during flower.

This is what everyone is saying, do a SCROG grow. You can get a net that goes up the wall a bit too. This isn't my pic or the best example but you get the idea. Just keep tucking it under the net.DSC047631.JPG
This way if you plan ahead of your growth you can fill the bottom portion first then the top portions. You should be fine for space until they finish stretching.

ok sounds good. Never scrogg before so i was under the impression the buds will stretch past the net. Thanks

scrog ok but just remember once its in plance ur plants stay there that's why i fem and tip to controll my plants and move em around

Actually im quite fond of topping, fimming,supercropping & lst. Only time i grew vertical was my first grow years ago. Since everyone recommended scrogg then i will give it a try, do you guys start in veg?

the will be flipped to flower as soon as the second topping of tops recovers. probably in 10 days or so. i have already started LST. i do not own a MH bulb & i cannot get a metal halide shipped here on time. im going to scrog them so im not worried about flowering no more. just hoping they recover asap so i can flip to 12/12.20150507_195125.jpg

Scrog is just a form of lst everyone is telling you the same thing. Tie them down..lst. you can also keep topping. It doesn't matter that you already did you can continue to top and tie main shoots down. Don't forget to anchor the base of the plant before you lst, very important.

He means anchor the bottom of the stem so the root zone isnt disturbed because the main stalk is thick already. Thanks for the reminder lol. I have made this mistake many times years ago, every grow i did after my first was LST'ed/Topped & super cropped. I dont mind if you guys would like to clear some things up on my thread.

the main stem at the base of the plant. don't bend a plant without securing it first! unless you're trying to rip it out of the dirt.
