Black Domina '98

It is a clone I got some years ago from a friend. It mixes the best of the essence of the Indica Afghani plants we would imagine: sweet hashy musky scented buds and a very relaxing effect. Nice taste, nice hard buds. It is ready in 8 or 9 weeks indoors and although they produce a reduced volume of buds, these are very dense.

It is the first time I grow it outdoors, I live in a quite wet Atlantic coastal weather at near 43ºN, so I don't think I'll make the most of them. The weather this time has been awful but still they look good and Botrytis-free. Probably the best moment for harvest would be first week of October, but some storm is coming and I'll have to decide to cut them or to take them indoors.

Apparently Sensi seeds doesn't offer anything like the quality they had up to the 90s. I've spent a lot of money in a dozen of strains last years and all of them were garbage.

Cheers

Congrats on the clone. Hard to find pure (4 way Afghan) genetics anymore let alone hearty mold resistant ones. Sounds dank. Did you keep a cut?

This makes me feel better.. I have been worried that I did something wrong, I'm at 8 weeks today on my Black Domina and the colas are small compared these bottle sized ones on other strains.. She's hydro grown, DWC style..

What temps are your grow room? It looks like they were kept under temp and that somewhat stunted their growth. Also, whats your EC if you're running DWC and how often are you checking pH, EC, and changing nutes?

The grow room has been generally kept between around 68 to 75, the issue is the lights I'm using, they very cheap LEDs pulling about 30 watts.. so I think shes actually pretty decent considering.. but this was mostly an experiment to see if it can be done with the cheapest lights Amazon has to offer.. I think they went up from 23 to 30 recently, Osunby "45 watt" squares.. shes been on plain ro water for 2 weeks now and still looking green.. and I check ph and ppm almost daily before flushing..
