I wanna create an outdoor organic soil with black gold because fox farm is too expensive to put in 5 gallon buckets lol... I'm thinking just the black gold organic soil with perlite and worm castings... Would you guys do Italy different? Any suggestions on better soil to use?

dont know what black gold is but i use a local blend of 5 composts, EWC, AFC, guano, Bone meal, dolomite lime, epsom salt, and some jobes veggie ferts.

having a good mix of nutrients is key. and having a good amount is important in not having to add nutrients.

Black Gold is good shit....same people who make Sunshine Mix, You will need to amend it though, it's a fairly inert soil. If your new to outdoor growing i would suggest getting a dry granular organic fertilizer and adding a little extra dolomite into the mix. Espoma, Fox Farms, Happy Frog, Organicare all make some great organic granulated fertilizers

So your saying buy 2 different soils and mix them together?

im using it on one plant this year...its super fluffy...i liked it ..i liked kellog's patio plus about the same and it's a lot cheaper...

No ....Black Gold and Sunshine Mix are manufactured by the same company, basically they are the same soil. Use either one.

So I should buy the bag of black gold/sunshine mix and dolomite and nothing else with it to make a great outdoor soil?

You'll need to amend the Black Gold, If you're wanting to make a soil that's similar to FFOF, then I'd suggest you get a bag of Fox Farms "Marine Cuisine" fertilizer, it's a bout $10-15 for a 4 pound bag. Simply follow the directions on the back of the bag, and yes you'll want to add some dolomite too. 1 tablespoon per cubic foot of soil.
