from how i see it in the uk
i would assume the majority of black folk know the sentiment is not genuine
and do not want it in the first place anyway
white people created political correctness
the left created it perhaps to annoy the right so they can accuse them of racism
this does not mean the left like black folk they just used them as a means to an end
I remember pc starting here.
At Coles in the early 80's you could buy a variety of ethnic joke books.
Can't find those anymore. Prolly collectors items.
Seems to be that it started as a reasonable attempt to have civil discourse.
at some point it morphed way beyond that.
it does stifle debate.

i heard a jew make a joke about jews having big noses
this was not self-deprecation as the Jew in question had a regular size nose

i knew a black guy who called another black guy "guppy" because he had big lips
he did not mind it when i or other white devils referred to him as guppy either he was aware that his lips were excessive and had grown to accept it
guppy was a pretty chill rasta dude anyway he did not need any political correctness to protect his huge lips from incoming gibes and banter
and always gave as good as he got

exactly mate its as if it was a new discovery
racism was openly rife on tv shows in the media the left (labour) supported this and were in power at the time here when we still had signs on bars (pubs) that read "no dogs no Irish"
before this it said "no dogs no Irish no blacks" 60s-70s

i think they let the Irish in around 1990

i guess dogs will just have to wait a bit longer

The polish are allowed in bars

They pretend to be Russian mafia in their kappa tracksuit chatting large to the ladies like they is a G
niko bellic style

there are problems with the Romanians though
i'm not sure if they are allowed to work here or not yet
so they are not treated well by the welfare services etc

I'm referring to anyone who reads your post, genius. I can't stand racial shit. This country is still trying to recover from the effects of slavery and comments like yours hurts progress.
chill out. what he said may have been stupid but it wasn't anywhere near racist. sheskunk will take care of that part once she finishes her 40 piece chicken mcnuggets and x-large vanilla milkshake from mcdonalds.

Why do black people have such a passion for expensive trainers?
And what's with their obsession for brand names?
They even use the words 'Off brand' as an insult....

400 years of slavery.
One generation after Civil Rights....
Trainers, fake diamond earrings and a million versions of the same fucked up rap 'music'.

"I have a dream!
70 pairs of pure white Nikes and Addidas trainers"
M L K
lol, very nice job knob! n.o.e. starts this very open-ended thread, and then scoots away and watches a bunch of sheep turn his crap, into even bigger crap. as i said, nice job, knob...

I've just been watching the first season of HILL STREET BLUES (from 1981)
and there's a character called Lt Howard Hunter.
He's a racist. But no one takes him seriously.
It seems to me that, over the last 35 years, the only thing that's really changed is that we allow racists to annoy us
and we've lost our senses of humour.

When did everything get so serious....???

Liberals and their "political correctness".

It gets worse everyday.

Have to agree.
I look back and, as much as I don't like to say this, a lot changed after 9-11.
Things got intense. War on Terror was the cherry on the shit sundae of the War on Drugs.
Stone cold bummmer. my .02 fwiw
