1) PICTURE OF PLANT - sorry I could only take 2 pics then my camera batteries died, I circled some of the areas affected and tried to sharpen up the other pic in photoshop
2) Growing indoors (closet grow)
3) Water every 3-4 days roughly
4) Growing Medium - Seedling Raiser (no nutes)
5) Few weeks into flower (12/12)
Today I checked on my plants and one of them suddenly has black spots on lower leaves.
I watered yesterday and also decided to add some nutes (8 little 16-10-6 slow release fert balls which is way less than recommended) to the perimter of the pot and lightly pushed them into the soil prior to watering. I know during flowering I should use a fert with less N and more P or K (cant remember which) but this is all I had.
I always water the plants so that the pots trays fill up with water too as it doesn't take long usually for that water to also dissappear (I live in australia and it gets quite hot somedays). This has not been the case with the last few days its been raining alot (flash flooding in some areas).
I'm worried this black stuff on the leaves might be mold. THis plant hasnt shown sex yet but the other one appears to be developing buds, so I dont want mold especially if it might start forming buds too soon.
I looked on under side of leaf and no sign of black there (though you can see the black on the top side through the leaf)
I lightly ran my finger over some of it to see if it would rub off but it didnt.
I've had lots of probs with yellowing leaves and even bleaching? as in the leaves almost turn white.
I think this is due to the fact I havent used any ferts yet (until yesterday) this is because I cant afford to buy decent ferts at the moment and I didnt want to resort to slow release ferts but yesterday I decided to.
ANy help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. It's only one plant in that pic I just topped it early and it ended up growing like that.
OH yeh and using CFLs, cant monitor temp or humidity and have oscilating fans blowing across plants 24/7. Water with tap water but let it sit out for a day or two with open lid.
