I know there is a sticky in the plant problems forum with a chart but DAMN if i can find it right now. sorry. you can flame me if it helps.
anyway, this is a critical jack auto grown in a hempy bucket under a 400w hps 20/4 in a 2x4 tent. It was badly stunted early on due to poor lighting but came around when i got the hps. She finished ok, but took weeks longer than expected. It was looking fine, albeit thin, last week when i left on vacation. while i was gone, i had a trusted compadre water them for me at the same rate, the only difference being i told him to just water them, giving them a 7 day flush before today, for a hopeful harvest. When I came home I was shocked in both a good and a bad way. SHE GOT FAT. (unlike the gf, this is a good thing!) Many of the fan leaves are yellowing (natural), but some of them, particularly on the main cola, turned dark purple, nearly black, and are hard and crispy to the touch with upturned tips. I would have probably chaulked it up to nute burn, but they haven't had nutes in a week. It doesn't matter at this point anyway, I'm trimming her up right now, I'm just curious what it might be a symptom of or if it is a natural thing this strain does as it nears the end of its life? I'm just fascinated by the plants and I want to know why they do what they do. Thanks for any help you can give me!!!
