Blacklist big daddy's hydro! Worst oil in the d!

I picked up some oil from Big Daddy's Hydro in the metro D yesterday. Here is what happened while I was there:

The staff is friendly for sure. A short wait and I met with the "boss" Stefani, "Big Daddy's" daughter. She was friendly as well, but not professional at all. I asked about what kind of oil she had available and she pulled out a small pill box with 1 gram of what was described as "CO2 extracted oil. What really upset me was that she was playing with the oil with her fingernail trying to demonstrate that it was room stable. That was disgusting. I don't know what the hell she has been touching and scratching Throughout the day and then she has the nerve to touch it in front of me without even washing her hands. I asked her for a new untouched sample and she gave a very offended look like how dare I ask that.

Get it home to dab and it was the worst crackle of any oil I have ever tried. The oil crackled so bad that it would fly off the nail, some of it hit my face! The worst part is they sell it at $50/gram and claim it to be the best oil available. They claim to try and test all their meds. bullshit.

I'm never going back to big daddys hydro again.

I met her at the dispensary in Burton, she seemed alright to me. I was just buying flowers though. She made it abundantly clear that big daddy was her dad though. Did you ask for a refund? I would think if you went back and talked to them, they should handle it. Have them smoke some of it. I would like to think they make it right. If they tell you to go fuck yourself, then that would be interesting.

I am no oil expert by any means, but from what I understand Co2 extraction is VERY expensive, and requires some ridiculously expensive equipment to make it properly .... so I would be very leery of anyone claiming to have it, as it is most likely not what they say it is.

It's nice of you to represent. A customer is very important, you shouldn't be so shocked. You should thank him for giving you the opportunity to publicly make shit right. And I doubt he was lying about her touching it. It's like you are being nice and professional, but calling the customer a liar, and scolding him at the same time.

So what do you suppose the problem with his co2 extract?

Hi - this is Katie from Big Daddy's. Sorry about your unpleasant visit and I do apologize. We've always had a return policy so if there's a problem please feel free to bring it back. Also- we have tools that we use to handle concentrates so I highly doubt she was handling it with her bare hands. I am a little shocked about the extreme way of you going about this UKE, wow!!! Next time maybe just call someone before jumping to boycott a family business.
Side note - the CO2 Oil was authentic. We do have the best meds around - come see for yourself!
Welcome to being self employed. Not everyone is going to like your service, or product, and they have the right to bitch about it if they want. I have never been to your establishment so I want address you directly, but if your prices are anything like what other dispensaries charge, then you are bound to get some bad rap. People expect top shelf stuff for $15-$20 a gram for flowers, and $50 a gram for oil.

Not everyone cares enough to come and try to make shit right either. Boycotting a business because you had a bad experience there and didn't do shit to try to get it resolved? Kind of lame in my book.

There are a lot of patients who freak at the lack of respect that the medicine is afforded by dispensary staff. Seems like they are begging for regulation or legislation to clean up the act.

(btw, likely that there was moisture contamination as reason for the pop and splatter)

Of course she cares. She cares about the bottom line, and bad press doesn't help that.

To me, as glad already pointed out, the right thing to do would be to apologize for the bad experience and offer a refund or exchange .... and leave out the calling him a liar part, and expressing her shock at him making a thread about this.

I appreciate your response, but the context and content is another thing... there is nothing extreme about reporting unprofessional handing of product and describing a sub par product. what is extreme is how your dispensary buys this oil without ever trying it out obviously, because if you had an experienced dabber try this stuff, they would instantly know that it is total and utter shit. but you guys go ahead and sell it touting its the best oil you will ever have because our guy uses CO2 extraction. to the people reading this thread I know what I saw, and I saw long red finger nails poking at the oil and then picking it up letting it get under the nail a bit. I don't care what this rep katie says about it being highly improbable. she was not there in the room during the transaction.

I think there are a lot of bad dispensaries in Michigan. I think Big Daddy's is a good dispensary. (I don't think the rep helped them, but I applaud her effort)

why are you so willing to overlook the obvious fact that their requirements for what they take in and sell are so lax that oil like this is allowed to be sold at their dispensaries? you are much more tolerant than me. I'm from the school of though that it's the "tip of the iceberg" I'm seeing. god knows what goes on behind closed door if they are so lax in front of their patients. that is enough for me to blacklist a place no matter what kind of compensation they offer. I'm kind of guessing that you are somehow affiliated with this dispensary judging by your pro big daddy stance, or you are the maker of the oil?? please let it be so...

First off, if I made the oil you'd be too stupid to be on here typing after trying it... Yeah I'm just that good. I'm not in any way affiliated with BDH, never been there, just happen to have the acquaintance of someone there.

I would be mad too if I had received some shitty oil, but I wouldn't go on the nets biggest weed site and call for a blacklist on them. I think I would take it up with them and see how their customer service handled the issue. You didn't do that. They didn't do shit to you to deserve this thread.

The fingernail, at least it was painted....

I think they got what they deserved. don't be charging top tier prices if you can't back it up. simple as that. maybe next time they will rethink about what oils they sell and at what price. the whole point of this thread was to shine some light on this crap they were peddling, mission accomplished.

Shit I'll never go to depot town again in ypsilanti. They were charging 70$ for bho that looked worse than my reclaim. Don't know what else I can do other than just not go back. I mean they were real proud of their oil which they believed to be 90% THC which is the only cannabinoid statistic they remembered about the oil. Either way the oil was very gooey, with a black and green tint. I just don't think there's anyway to talk common sense into people especially when their selling a product they don't know much about..

Not really, you handled it like a top-notch asshole. Just my opinion..
