Hi all, I picked up some of these to put over my cactus plants:clap: , was wondering how far I should keep them from my babies. And when they get bigger how far I should keep them from them...
thx rep will be given!

i think they say it should be 8-12in from the lights but i think 6in is also good. Currently my light is 6in from the plants but thats because I'm out of space.

If it is LED, you can put those bad boys inside an inch of the plant. There should be no burning from them this is a huge pro for led.
I would put it as close the plants as possible to get as much penetration as possible.

gotcha, thx for the advice guys/gals..... Im def moving them closer to the cactus... I was just scared of bleaching or something you know? B/c its not always the heat that hurts them, but sometimes to much light!

If you start to notice the cactus turning white, it's too close to the LED fixture. The intense light can "bleach" chloroplast, leaving it white and not producing photosynthesis.
