Blaze & Daze

My girlfriend flashes me every morning.
She claims she is just getting ready for her day/work, but I know better.
She just wants to direct my thoughts for the day, as I am waking and susceptible to suggestion. Then she turns it on me and makes me out to be a pervert when I try to complete what she begins at the end of the day!

Coffee is being consumed. Sun is out, and so are my transplants. Doink forthcoming.

Blessed are the customers who offer to call back after their PC is restarted, or the update downloaded.

Lucky!

When my wife floated that she should get implants, I asked how big she'd go. "Just big enough so I could tell people to stop staring at them." Temptress was all I could think of.

We have those ticks now,I've seen a few last year,it's impossible to avoid just walking to car they hop on ya. Definitely more vigilant this year
I dread the possibility of a tick bite causing a meat allergy. We get ticks on us all the time working in the yard, I got Lyme several years ago and that was bad enough, no way I want a meat allergy as well.

I use this stuff against the little bastards. I've been busting the brush this spring Turkey hunting & I have walked probably 20 miles in the last month in thick woods with not a single bite!

One nice thing about living in the desert, not many bugs. No ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers or fleas. Just scorpions and killer bees for the most part. We have a cat that is a bug assassin, No bugs in the house anymore. Which is good, both my wife and grandson were stung by scorpions before we got the cat.
June bugs are early this year. Cats love swatting them out of the air, then eating them. Screenshot_20250515_233443_Gallery.jpg

Do the scorpions glow under uv? Could get a yard/grow light with some uv to expose them at night - plinking time.

I have that in my amazon basket, good stuff. You can make a DIY pyrethum/permethrin dip also for larger items, like a fleece blanket or tent body.
I had some InsectShield clothing before, works thru multiple washes. Seem to recall retailer saying it was a polymer wax base that stuck to synthetic and natural fibers.

They were early here too & I was feeding them to the aquarium fish (the Oscars & Jaguar cichlids love the big junies), then I cleaned the aquariums & my sump filters were full of wings, casings & hundreds of legs.

We're back on a frozen shrimp diet.

You don't want to be outdoors around dusk around here, the mosquitos are horrible once it warms up.
We’re the same, you either coat yourself in deet or hide once the sun starts going down. Once it’s dark it’s ok again, but at dusk they might just carry you off there’s so many. We get mayflies and horseflies as well, they bite too and leave a good welt. I think the worst are the Belgian hornets, they’re huge and when they get you it hurts like crap for a week and swells up like mad, and I’m not allergic. I got hit by one last year and my leg swelled up so big you couldn’t see my ankles at all. Other than that it’s beautiful here…
