Oh wow I hope not, never heard of that!Aren't ticks the source of that sudden onset red meat allergy thing? That would probably be devastating to someone who loves meats as much as you guys with your smoking and flipping and flopping and dolloping and curing and slicing!
I googled it, it sounds really shitty to experoence. Its called alpha-gal syndromeOh wow I hope not, never heard of that!
We have those ticks now,I've seen a few last year,it's impossible to avoid just walking to car they hop on ya. Definitely more vigilant this yearI googled it, it sounds really shitty to experoence. Its called alpha-gal syndrome

My girlfriend flashes me every morning.
Then she turns it on me and makes me out to be a pervert when I try to complete what she begins at the end of the day!
I dread the possibility of a tick bite causing a meat allergy. We get ticks on us all the time working in the yard, I got Lyme several years ago and that was bad enough, no way I want a meat allergy as well.We have those ticks now,I've seen a few last year,it's impossible to avoid just walking to car they hop on ya. I use this stuff against the little bastards. I've been busting the brush this spring Turkey hunting & I have walked probably 20 miles in the last month in thick woods with not a single bite!We have those ticks now,I've seen a few last year,it's impossible to avoid just walking to car they hop on ya. June bugs are early this year. Cats love swatting them out of the air, then eating them. One nice thing about living in the desert, not many bugs. No ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers or fleas. Just scorpions and killer bees for the most part. We have a cat that is a bug assassin, No bugs in the house anymore. Which is good, both my wife and grandson were stung by scorpions before we got the cat.
Blackflies here are vicious at this time of year and gone once it gets warmer. They're nasty, as they make one itch and leave quite the welt for days - true assholes of the insect world. Why Noah, why!You don't want to be outdoors around dusk around here, the mosquitos are horrible once it warms up.
I have that in my amazon basket, good stuff. You can make a DIY pyrethum/permethrin dip also for larger items, like a fleece blanket or tent body.I use this stuff against the little bastards. They were early here too & I was feeding them to the aquarium fish (the Oscars & Jaguar cichlids love the big junies), then I cleaned the aquariums & my sump filters were full of wings, casings & hundreds of legs.June bugs are early this year. Do the scorpions glow under uv? Could get a yard/grow light with some uv to expose them at night - plinking time.
We’re the same, you either coat yourself in deet or hide once the sun starts going down. Once it’s dark it’s ok again, but at dusk they might just carry you off there’s so many. We get mayflies and horseflies as well, they bite too and leave a good welt. I think the worst are the Belgian hornets, they’re huge and when they get you it hurts like crap for a week and swells up like mad, and I’m not allergic. I got hit by one last year and my leg swelled up so big you couldn’t see my ankles at all. Other than that it’s beautiful here…You don't want to be outdoors around dusk around here, the mosquitos are horrible once it warms up.
This is one of the reasons why I love the winter. Give me snowOne nice thing about living in the desert, not many bugs. No ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers or fleas.
