I'm weird enough to spend winter in a Northern city, just not the twin cities. Even together they are just a medium size urban area with shitty and diffused downtowns. Wintering in DC is another option we talk about. Somewhere with great public transportation, proximity to an international airport and a vibrant cultural and economic scene, and top flight health care.

Switch got flipped again, probably won't see 90's again till next year, but you never know.
Son chopped the rest of the Columbian that was out in the garden and it's hanging in the garage, I'll get pics in a bit. Hopefully the north breeze won't dry it out too quickly.

Want more? The smallest turkey I could find was 7.3 kg (~16 lbs.) and we still have about 1/2 of that bird left.

There were nine of us and a 9.5kg turkey. Not much white meat left by the time we were done.
I had to beg for a little to take home.
