Every hole that you put a fish in got robbed .....I grew my very first patch at 14 (45 years ago) and thought I'd do what the Indians did and plant a seed and a smelt together (they ran up our creek by the millions) and nope, don't do that lol. Besides the god awful smell the raccoons and bears dug up the whole field lol. Thank god I had a thousand seeds from the Mexican my brother had pounds of.

No shit ......no pun intended lol ......I'd be so pissed ...maybe that's why the Indians/native Americans used to do it .....bury fish in there garden to grow food ...meanwhile when an animal came to dig up the fish they could just kill it and eat that to .....growing and hunting all in the same area .......native Americans are very interesting I love going to look at artifacts and learn things about different tribes
