Blending up herb

Hey guys, I will update the thread in my sig in a few, but out of my 1 plant CFL grow we got about 57 grams which is so dope. We have all the trimmings and stems and want to make some hash but my lady is wondering if the blender will turn green after blending it all up once. Any thoughts and opinions welcomed.

A blender with a glass cup will not turn green, heck you'd have to have a blender cup made out of paper for it to turn green.
If you got about 60 grams of bud, I wouldn't bother with trimmings as you probably don't have much. Better make some butter.

Ok, I don't get the idea of blending up the stems and leafs. Part of the point with hash/keif ect is not having that plant part in there. You'd definately want to go with a better technique. I personally saw a technique using dry ice and it is by far my favorite. here is a video of how I would personally do it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_7zZLpVtrs

welllll i just read your comment. We went with the qwiso technique and it turned out well. We got 2.7ish grams and my gf is gunna make some chocolate chip pumpkin brownie cake thing with 1.5 grams of it.

We blended it up with iso, then strained it twice with coffee filters, the put it on a ceramic plate over a boiling pot of water till all the liquid was gone, put it in the freezer for 3 minutes and it came out perfect. no scent of iso or anything. I'll be doing a taste test after work tonight

Yeah but the black tar look isn't very pleasing lol, Idk, I guess I know that hash and kief can only be as good as the trichromes it comes from, so with a method that turns it from an amazing orangish yellow crystal pile into a black tar goo ball, just makes me cringe. Lol if the taste and effects are amazing, I'd just want to keep it lookin good as well I guess.
