Blockbuster reflector

I have heard this is the best reflector on the market, i am about to buy 3 of them but i am limited on height. the highest i can hang them will be 1.45m from the floor. would this be enough height? will be running 1000w's in each. Thanks

I guess that would depend on how tall you plan to grow your plants, and how well you can cool your hoods, now wouldn't it?

I have a blockbuster 6 and it's nice. I've only run my 400w or 600w in it however.

i have 4 blockbuster 8s. Love them. They have a great seal if you run sealed room

so if at 1.45m high, will the light cover a 4x4 area?

They are rock star reflectors. I just installed 10 of them. 4.5 feet though? I don't think you can hang any reflector in that height with a 1k. Even with a 600.. Figure a foot for the reflector, a foot to 18" from the top of your plants plus the height of your container. Your plants are going to be a foot tall at maturity. Your going to have a 5 hour veg time. Lol

the block buster won't be good but you can do it with a regular hood but its more your grow style which is what is going to determine a lot.

Legal and Oliver if you check out world of hempy thread and moebius grow room is that same height maybe a little smaller. He does a 2l hempy sog with 600's in xxxl hood's i believe. He does like 120 at a wack. lol.

edit: I should add he says its a lot of time finding the right strains to flower from a rooted clone that don't end up stretching to much. I'm sure there's more to it like anything but that's the jist of it.

Well the blockbusters are better than the xxl's. plus they are not utterly retried looking like the xxl's are.

What light bulb is 30" long anyways? Or maybe the XXL was designed for a bulb that emits light from the end?

Would it be possible for him to start a DIY deep water culture with low wide resivoirs. He could plan to top/fim/lst a wide bush type plant in veg untill it reaches about 3ft tall, then s.c.r.o.g them 4x4ish (net 12 inches from 17in high igloo cooler) and have 2ft 3in of bud room assuming the blockbusters cooling works well and all other plant related issues like climate and nutrients are under control.

they are great for 600's i got 1 of those but for a 1,000 I'd probably go with that big ass raptor.
