Blood Test Tomorrow... I'm high right now

I know someone who was spinal fluid tested when he had ammonia and his parents got informed, that's what I was worried about
Cool Story bro!

Nah, just kidding.

patient doctor confidentiality i call bullshit on that story

and please go look up what ammonia is i highly doubt someone had that in their spinal fulidView attachment 2557728

Nice touch, with the ammonia there at the end. As Sunni said bullshit. If it happened, your friend needs to contact the hospital administration and the local police for a violation of federal patient confidentiality laws. Guess what... You could be banging H in the shitter at the hospital, as long as you aren't sharing it with a minor, or doing it in front of the staff, a doctor or nurse who is treating you is legally obligated to shut the fuck up and deal with it.

I thought doctors were allowed to disclose all medical information to the parents if their child is a minor...is this wrong? Didn't we already determine that the op is probably under 18?

I thought doctors were allowed to disclose all medial information to the parents if their child is a minor...is this wrong?
exactly, why would you blatantly punch that out there when im trying to fish him for being an underage user? thanks for ruining my devious plan:fire:

Very much so. I actually smoked a joint in the hospital bathroom, while I was being treated for acute bronchitis. Doctor could smell it, got pissed, but could not tell my mother or the police, because of dr/patient confidentiality. Birth Control, pregnancy... As long as it's not "harmful to the child" (for example a predatory crime against a minor) the doctor must keep confidentiality unless given written consent otherwise, or if the minor "allows" the parents to stay in the room while discussing medical issues. But then, disclosure is only the scope of the illness or injury.

don't smoke in the hospital people, wtf
:eyesmoke:

So all I have to do to cook meth is go to the hospital? You know...doctor patient confidentiality...

That right there creates a real danger to others, and would be criminal enterprise. Also, the doctor would have to report the hazardous materials. On a side note, meth cooks and dealers are rarely missed by anyone but worthless tweekers.

It's just like anything else. Don't be sill about expectations. You can go to your priest and tell him you have killed a hooker, and buried her body. He can't say anything. But, if you go to the priest and tell him you have a hooker tied up in your trunk, and you need a little preemptive rape and murder forgiveness, he is legally obligated to immediately call the police.

If you kill someone, and call your lawyer to tell him you just killed someone, they will tell you to shut up about it, and not tell anyone else. If you call your lawyer and say "I'm about to kill someone" they are legally obligated to call the police.

If you are a patient in a hospital, minor or adult, and you smoke marijuana (even in a questionable location) but the doctor does not catch you doing it, the doctor is legally required to keep silent about you using weed. If you check into the hospital and bust out your chem set to cook meth, you are creating a dangerous environment, and creating toxic/hazardous waste. The doctor is legally required to report you to the police.

I did a plumbing job at a hospital. We were working in the crawlspace. This guy I was working with smoked like a chimney. Now, I'm a smoker and frequently break the no smoking rules in places, but Lighting up one after another underneath a hospital wing that is still in use while being paid to do work there. This is a bit too far. I told this idiot if he kept it up I would rat him out to the boss.

He didn't smoke after that under there.

I didn't like the guy anyway he had no teeth and I think he only showered on a monthly basis.

I was hospitalized for pleurisy once. I was there for like three days. On the second day the antibiotics had me feeling much better. The morphine helped too.:weed: I had my wife bring me some smokes. That night I snuck out the entrance to have a quick smoke. It was snowin and cold as hell. Here I am w/ a friggin IV tree, in my gown and socks when a nurse came out to go home. OOPs. She just looked at me and shook her head. She said "don't get caught"

The next day I decided to try and sneak out a diff. entrance. There was a patient wing that wasn't being used. So I wandered around till I found a side entrance. It had a sign on it that said "door alarmed until 11 am."

Well, I thought I was good as it was after noon at this point. As soon as I tried to open the door the most god awful siren started going off. You would have thought we were under nuclear attack.

I picked that IV tree up and ran back to my room climbed in bed like nothing happened. My heart racing a million miles an hour.
All the while this alarm going off Clearly able to be heard halfway across the hospital.
