vortex and ecoplus say the opposite on their websites and i sent an email to can fan and they said that info was outdated. we got into this once a while back on another thread. i'll look for it.

This one. Enough things are hot in a grow room...why heat the fan up unnecessarily? I'm pretty sure they are built to work well either way, but I can't think of a reason to pull air that hot through my fan.

to answer your question seriously now...
you want cold air to be pushed through the lights first... then the "air that was heated by the lights," to then be pulled out of the room...
its all about maintaining good air pressure as well that way it is most efficient...
