blowing glass pieces

i am beginning to blow my own glass pieces and was woundering if any one had any info on how to go about opening my own buissness? or if i just did it on the side where i would be able to sell my pieces?

any boardwalk at a beach would be prime location, just string rope through them and sell them as neclaces

my boy julio blows his own glass and started out that way, now he sells exclusivley to head shops and makes a killing

im in upstate NY, no beaches or board walks around here:cry::cry:

take your best pieces and see what kinda deals you can strike up, it cant hurt

lots of headshops like selling local independant blowers pieces cuz they can actually sell it for more

cool good to know i will try that in the next few days, ill make it a big day trip cause the closest one is about a 55 mile trip so i hope its worth while. thanks for your input

maybe if i do and start saving i will be able to open my own glass studio in a few years, which is my goal. that way there wouldnt be any travel involved. damn price of gas lol

with my local headshop, the artist creates a collection, then brings them in in bulk(ish). So the gas wouldnt be THAT bad if you didnt have to make the trip too often.

yea i wouldnt take just ine piece, im thinking im going to take like 40 pieces with me and hit at least 4 out of the 6 shops

where are you from? I'm trying to get a custom piece of glass for my SSV.

hey how about custom in general. like a big ass bear bong seriously $. or bowl you get the idea. i see animal pipes but not the best animal.
