Harvest Update Blue Dream B
Sorry guys took me so long to post pics but just been busy because of the holidays. Trimming took me along time for both plants. That shooting powder pushed out a lot more buds and made them very dense so it was harder to trim. Blue Dream B's total wet weight was 281.6g's or just a little over 10 oz.'s. Total wet weight for both was 701 g's or little over 25 oz.'s. Both the Blue Dream's were drier than than the Bubblicious when I harvested them so I'm hoping I don't lose 75% water weight but I will be happy with 6-7 oz.'s of dried nugs. If I take an avg. of both the Blue Dreams at 6.5 oz.'s and the Bubblicious at 1.5 oz.'s then I will get 0.56g's per watt. So for my first indoor grow I'm stoked!
The Blue Dream A has been drying for 3 days now. The popcorn nugs and the fluffier nugs are feeling dry to the touch already. The humidity has been running in the high 50% to low 60% range so I went and bought this mini dehumidifier called Eva-Dry and hung it on the rack inbetween the nugs (In last pic). Seems to be helping but I think I rushed the dying process with the Bubblicious so I'm going to give them some extra time. The Bubblicious still has a grassy smell but the smaller popcorn nugs smell sweet and are a lot smoother to smoke. The mason jar was only about 1/3 full so I'm going to make sure the Blue Dream fills it up about 80% and wait till they are a little drier before I start to cure them.
I think the extra time in the dark helped the plants. I definitely noticed way more growth than the Bubblicious and it was much stickier when I was trimming. I know they are different strains and have no facts to back this up but next time I'm going to let them sit for atleast 72 hours before I harvest.
