Blue Dream & Church Valley Kush With EBB & Grow Along with Lucas Formula

Ok so I just got out of the room, smoked them out for a minute. The blue dream is slowly starting to get dense, but its 31 days in so I'm hoping to see some big improvements soon because those colas are no where near the size of the church. My buddy said this is typical for this strain unless I use the gas lantern technique. He just started it with his batch and his colas are about to double mine. An he also said that it normally packs on the weight during week 7-8. It's weird because this is the only strain I've heard of or seen do that. But smokin on the blue dream makes it seem so worth it. This shit is super dank.
I also have an idea of blasting the room till its like 50 degrees for about 3 days right before harvest lol. I'm loving the purple church lol.

Ok, I got a question about Nirvana from Advanced Nutrients... Think it's safe to use or a good product? My buddy uses it as a part of his recipe, and I'm just not quite sure about it?
Any feed back is better then no feed back.

Ok, so I just check the ppm's and ph of the resi. I've been keeping the ppm's right around 1400 to 1500 but when I used the One Love powder it dropped it to about 13500. Which I knew would happen. Anyways, I had a batch of tea left about a half gal. that I added to my resi when I changed it out, well during the resi change I also added 30 ml of molassis for a carbo load. But I think it worked as both a carbo loader and food for the bennys. Which is good. The reason why I think this is because, my resi's got some bubbling action going on like I'm brewing the tea normally. I'm pretty sure this is due to the benny's and molassis. At first I was worried so I immediately grabbed the Ph stick and it was spot on with 6.0 which it normally jumps between 5.8 an 6.0 so I wasn't worried too much. I checked for slime. Nothing. I think tomorrow I will add another 30 ml of molassis to the resi. Seems to be working.

Watch the foam close when its in you res, look for brown foam or chunks of brown slime floating on the foam!
Your kinda going into another relm here and im interested to see what happens :)

Wait is that a bad sign? or a good sign? the foam was just clear like it would be in the tea?
I'm going into another relm? Wait I need your help HR! lol

Ohh I was also thinking that because I only threw in a half gallon with the 30 Ml of molassis I might be able to cut down on the amount of tea I give the plants per resi change. Hopefully allowing me to make a smaller batch of tea at a time.

K the foam is a sign of activity in your res what kind! Good or bad I dont know, if its white and doesnt smell
Like shit your ok, but know this I dont add any mollassis to my res only in the prosses of brewing. Just keep
A eye on it if its going to turn brown it will within 24hr

Alright I'll keep an eye on it for sure. I have a question about my ppm's. Do you think I should raise it up some? or keep it at where its at now? I've never raised it higher then 1500 in flower only because I didn't want to lock them up.

Bro your in my book at a critical high, I never go over 1250ppm most the time its at 1100ppm but if there ok then roll with
It. Just know all that extra nutes and salts are building up and at some point there might be a issue.

Damn, Idk why but I keep on having the idea that higher is better but your deffinately right about the salt build up and what not. I'll be sure to do a thorough flush lol.

View attachment 1889924<---- this is the resi, brewing it's own tea lol.
So I noticed that the bubbling action happenes most vigerously during the filling cycle. I'm pretty sure this is due to the L connecter, it has a pressure release hole drilled into one side of the L so that way the pump doesn't still suck water into the controller bucket like a vaccume.
Anywho, about to go smoke my plants out with some blue dream got myself a nice fatty blunt. The blue dream has definately shown a lot of bud development in the last few days. I think the last 3 weeks for the blue dream is most crictical for weight production.
Now the church, the main colas are slowly filling out. Lookin frosty and sweeter then ever. Has a pretty good aroma off of it. Unlike the blue dream, so far, no scent is to be smelt off the blue dream. Ohh well. These girls are startin to beef up pretty nice, I'm gettin so excited that I'm gettin closer and closer to harvesting the first time using this method. I can't wait to see the tally weigh in.

Ok, so I just checked the resi again. The ph is still stablized, and the ppm's are where I like em right now. There doesn't seem to be a slime problem in any buckets or in the resi, BUT some of the roots are brown. I honestly think it's just a stain from using the molassis because of how much darker it makes the water and sticks to everything. There still seems to be new root growth too though. Idk what to think right now because I'm not sure if it's slime(doesn't feel like it, also this is a little darker then what it was when I had the slime) or just the dying(not like death lol, more like dying hair) in the roots due to the molassis.
I'll keep on top of it, and if it looks like these roots die off then I'll discontinue using the molassis untill the last 2-3 weeks because by then I won't really worry about it. Also I'll make sure to clean out everything and clean the roots just to be on the safe side, that's if it starts to go sour. Until then I'ma let it continue and see what happens.

Nahh nothings mushie or fallin apart yet, I'm being pretty OCD about it lol. I just checked again, this time I pulled off a small portion of a root and rubbed it inbetween the fingers. Doesn't feel like slime. It doesn't smell bad either, put my nose right up to the roots. Kinda plesent, reminds me of a water park or something lol. The PPM's and PH were both still stable. I haven't had to add any water to this resi change this time either because they've been takin up the nutes just as fast as the water.
Tomorrow I will do a resi change and this will be the last time I use the One Love for the church, week 8-9 I will replace it with Overdrive. With the blue dream I will use one love until the end of week 8, then start overdrive week 9-10.. This will be a little tricky because I don't have an extra controller bucket so I'm going to have to make a make-shift controller.

What I will do is just run the line to another spare outer bucket outside of the room, stick a pump in the resi and in the outer bucket thats attached to the rest of the pots. Then I'll have to sit there and wait and see how long it takes to fill it up, set the timer for both pumps. I'll have to keep both timers synced up otherwise there may be a problem. The reason why I'll need two timers is because one timer will kick on for probably about 5 minutes at a time probably about 3 times or 4 times in a 30 minute fill cycle, to fill the pots. Then I'll need another timer to pump out the water after the fill cycle is done. I won't have float switches so I'm going to have to watch it for the first few times make sure it doesn't overflow.

Any tips, comments?
