Blue Dream & Church Valley Kush With EBB & Grow Along with Lucas Formula

Ok, so another update on the resi. The plants are lookin great, and the bubbling has slowed down dramatically since the last feeding. I think all the molassis was used up. I never put in any yesterday just because I was a little hesitent. I will be changing out the resi tomorrow, and I also think the reason why the bubbling stopped is because most of the benny's have died off. I'll be making a new batch of tea tomorrow as well since I'm fresh out, so the resi will go another 48 hours without airstones and tea. I wont add molassis into the resi untill I add the tea too. Only to stay on the safe side for now. I don't exactly have this thing down.

Ok, so I have a little update on the clones for everyone.
All my clones are running on the Gas Lantern Technique. If your not aware of what that is, its a 12-1 cycle which equals out to. 12 on, 5.5 off, 1 on, 5.5 off, repeat....
This is for the vegging. They've all grown to about 6-8 inches now which normally they'd be down about 5-7 inches now. So roughly an inch or so higher in growth compared to the 18-6. It's not much or very noticable so far, but I've been vegging my clones under 6 t9 florescents. So far, I think if I was vegging these girls under some 400's or 600's I'd see a bigger difference. I've set their feeding schedual to 300 so their gettin fed atleast 1 time per 3 days. Crazy to say but out of 43 cuttings I took 41 total survived. The GDP strain which turned out male I had 100% success rate with those close too, which was 12 for 12. But I pulled them for obvious reasons. I'll post some pictures of the clones soon.

Total count of clones was 55-53 survived the cut.. lol.

As for the big girls. lol
I just changed the resi, did the ppm's and ph.. Yada yada. Everythings cool. Ppm's are at 1400, Ph set to 5.9. I saw some buckets with exploding white root growth. So that tells me the molassis didn't slime them up really just stained them. Also that I'd probably be able to get away with just adding a 1/2 gallon at the beginning versus 2 gallons. And just add 30 ml of molassis to the resi with the tea, that will last me 5 days or so. Then I need to add about 1-2 cups every 5 days not 3. Seems to be workin for me. Blue dreams starting to pack on the weight big time. Looks like it might actually out produce on the church this week. Which I'm excited for but at the same time I'm like Church!! Hey! Wake UP! lol. Ohh well the church is where my super snow/ crystals/ tricomes/ stench is coming from. The blue dream I'm sure will be up there with it ths week.
Any questions?

View attachment 1895218<--- Church Valley Kush... so far I thought this was gonna be my last run with her, but I think I'll keep her genetics now.. So sweet and crystaly. I'm in love.
View attachment 1895217<---- Blue Dream.... This thing was slow in bud production all the way up until mid week 6. Now it's moving pretty rapid. The orginal grower told me this would happen. But it's startin to get frosty on those girls too.

View attachment 1895215<----- 18 Blue Dream Clones really healthy rooted completely and starting to air prune themselves. I'll have to either get a bigger block or get something to start putting them in.
View attachment 1895214View attachment 1895216<----- Church Valley clones. All these will be my next batch of mothers. I plan to pull somewhere in the neighborhood of like 300-500 clones. Thats why I got 14 mothers. Plus I need them fast and consistant. I've only taken cuts off the strongest plants that I have so any weak genetics from a previous plant will hopefully get discarded.
View attachment 1895213<---- Back right is my Chem Dawg. The guy who I'm donating part of the crop to, went in and took a peek at my clones. Afterwards he knocked a light down smashing the Chem Dawg Breaking Both of the main stems. They instantly wilted so I cut them off and shot it up with superthrive. Luckly I was able to save her.
The back left is my super baby Larry OG.. It's currently reverting back into veg so it'll be awhile before I see significant growth off her.
Then the rest in the tray are blue dream. Then the one in the middle in the pot is also Church.
P.S. None of these are in soil.. It's all Coco..

nice update bro rep to you man

Thanks man I appriciate it. You've been a big help man!
I just need to keep on improving my conditions and I think I could really make something out of this.

Ok, so went in to check on the girls today.. I'm not exactly happy with the progress that the church is making. It seem's to have hit a budding wall or something. It's getting quite dense and smells amazing. Super sticky and gooy too. But it's not filling out completely. The progression of the blue dream tells me that there's nothing wrong with the nutes because their bulkin up pretty rapidly right now. I know that going in there on a day to day basis makes it a little hard to judge the growth of the buds. But it doesn't look like the buds have developed much in the past 3 to 4 days now. Possibly the genetics? If so and it doesn't pack on any more weight thorought the grow then I'll know I can start to flush her at week 8 and harvest at the end of week 9..
Any tips to help kick threw this wall?

Over drive, kool bloom powder, yellow bottle final any of these will help push them more but you will need to hit them soon

Fack, I was hoping that this strain wouldn't do it this early. lol. I'll make another resi for that strain tomorrow. Looks like I'll be runnin 2 resi's now. Gonna suck too because I'm going to have to make some sort of make shift controller bucket..

You could disconect them and go drain to waist

Yeah, but that would cost me alot more in nutes dont ya think?
Also I'd have to do a hand watering type deal right?
-I.MJ

I've also noticed that the area's in the pot that are able to drain fully, the roots tend to be whiter in those areas. So the area where the waters just sitting. The roots don't explode as much and tend to get more stained. I think on my next run I will just set a 2x4 under one side of the pots and not both. This way it will elevate one side and not the other. Right now I'm elevating them very slightly with tops from medical containers. If that doesn't work properly then I'll put them under the 2x4's but add an extra one to one side. I know that it'll tilt the plants and this isn't exactly good. But what can I do... Cap made shitty buckets lol.

FUCK... I hate power outages... Just had to run an try to save all my ballasts and bulbs, looks like the entire block went out for about 5 minutes. I was scared my bulbs were gonna burst. I'ma give them a 30 minute cool down before I turn them back on. I hate unexpected things like that. Just glad I caught it before anything bad happened to the equipment. Cant afford to go out and replace it right in the middle of a harvest.

Ok, so been working on coming up with another controller bucket. Looks like it's gonna be next to impossible to try to run it off timers. What I think I'll do is just connect a spliter to both drain and fill outlets so that way when it kicks on it'll be running both pumps and filling both sets. Then when it drains it'll kick in the same time as the unit. The controller bucket that I'll be using will have 4 buckets then the modified controller bucket will be controlling 5 buckets. The reason why I put 5 on the other one and not 4 is because it will take less time to fill and drain the 4 buckets compared to the 5. Since it will take less time to fill the 4 buckets, the 5 bucket set will not get filled all the way. I'm alright with that because as long as the bottom 1/3 gets watered then the plants will do just fine. Also it'll be able to drain just as much as the 4 bucket system. So basically if the 4 bucket system allows the same exact amount of water into the 5 bucket system then I'll have to just run the pumps for the same amount of time in order to drain both sets.
Any tips, or tricks?

I was trying to make it more complicated then it had to be by trying to run it off timers.. lol, sometimes over analyzing comes from smokin to much weed.

Ok, so I busted out the microscope. Zoomed in about 100x and I'm seein half clear and half cloudy tricomes. I think it's starting to go into ripen.. I probably should of started the overdrive at the beginning of week 7 instead of going half way threw the week, but fuck what can ya do.. Still learnin lol. I upped the amount of molassis to 2.5 ml per gallon before I was using something like 1.5 ml. On the other resi I used roughly the same amount too. So today I set up the other resi.. Lookin good so far seems to be controlling it pretty ideal for a temperary fix. I think I'm gettin the hang of this hydroponics system pretty good now. I'll post some pictures later on this week.

Ok, so first off I'd like to say I'm pretty sure that the half gal of tea with 30 ml of molassis works pretty descent if your low on tea. However on this resi change I did 3/4 gal. with 37 ml of molassis with 18 gal of nutes/water. And their lovin it, on one set of pots it doesnt drain as much as the other set and their roots are excelling just as good. On the church I've been having to manual drain and flood the pots because I'm running them with overdrive now. It's kind of a pain in the ass to have to wait till 1 am to finish watering then wake up at 5 to do it again, but fuck I know it'll be worth all the hard work. Also I just realized that if I wanted I could actually run a perpetual harvest in the room already. Anywho.... The Church might still be in the wall, but it looks as if they may have broken threw. The progression looks very minimal, IDK what to think lol. The Blue Dream, is startin to swell like no one's business I'm lovin it like McDonald's (actually hate McDonald's lol). The nug formation on the Blue Dream is going to be really good and thick. The finished weight the Blue Dream will win for sure. I'll run overdrive on The Church untill the end of week 8. If they look like they could use an extra week then I'll go head and continue it. But my plans are to start flush on week 9 for the Church. Then continue the Blue Dream until week 9 with overdrive. Stretching out their cycle to 11 weeks.

P.S. I still wanna blast my room with 40 degree air to get purple nugs on everything. What do ya guys think?
-I.MJ

Right now I'm keepin the room bouncing between 68 and 72 during the light period and at night it drops down to 65 at the lowest. The Church is still showing slow progression, also some of the hairs are starting to turn amber/brown/golden I'm going to start flush on week 9 I think maybe half way threw week 8 depending on how I feel. The Blue Dream is progressing amazingly. I love it. I'll post pictures up soon to show off some bud porn.
