blue kush info

By mixing a Blueberry and an OG Kush, two legendary varieties, feminized Blue Kush , seeds produce magnificent plants of medium stature with a strong and sturdy structure. One curious aspect of this strain is that it features a Christmas tree shape, with stems that are much thicker than on an OG Kush, and a shorter distance between nodes, which helps to support the weight of the plant.
With this hybrid we have achieved a more conventional structure and one not as stretched as that exhibited by OG Kush, whose fine stems it is often necessary to guide, due to the risk of breakage caused by the weight of the buds. This plant features a stouter and more compact structure, with an average height that offers good results indoors, especially with optimised crops.
In addition, if exposed to a drop in temperatures overnight, Blue Kush takes on a beautiful colour that makes it worthy of its predecessors, as it can develop different shades depending on its growth conditions, ranging from blue and purple to lavender on its upper branches, while its lower layer of leaves can preserve some very marked green tones.
CULTIVATION
Difficulty
In general the crops are balanced, which makes it suitable for all kinds of growers, including the most inexperienced. This strain allows for abundant crops of high quality, easily and quickly, because it grows very vigorously, producing compact and resinous buds that are a very beautiful sight to behold thanks to their combination of bright purple and blue shades.
Suitable for outdoor and indoor growing
Another of Blue Kush's advantages is its adaptation to different growing methods, in both open and closed spaces. Inside it is very easy to obtain good results, especially when employing SCROG systems, as it stretches well to adapt to the mesh, but can also thrive unassisted. And, once it begins to bloom, it will still continue to stretch. Blue Kush is also ideally suited to the SOG (Sea of Green) system, where no pruning is done. With regards to outdoor growing, it also grows well in temperate and Mediterranean climates, or in a greenhouse.
Flowering and harvesting
Blue Kush needs an intermediate flowering time to achieve good results. Indoors, 60-65 days is enough for a harvest (about 500 g/m2). If you opt for outdoor growing you should keep in mind that the ideal time to harvest this strain is in early and mid-October. Its yield in this case is slightly higher than indoors: 600- 800 grams per plant.
