Blue Mystic - 92w CFL PC Grow

Soil is an incredibly important factor, in fact one of those most important for one reason... once you put it in you can't take it out! Please don't say you made the same mistake I did and out of desperation bought that 3 dollar for 40LB soil thats filled with pine bark at wal mart... cause I did...

What do you look for in a soil? A nice dark color of actual DIRT plenty of perlite (little white pellet thingies). Does the dirt have a high amount of bark and or other pulpy constituents? Bark and such mess with the PH level therefore screwing with your plants ability to aborb I believe it's nitrogen one of the most vital nutrients during the vegetative growth stage. And PH issues can cause a load of other problems besides hindering your plants ability to absorb nitrogen.

Well there I go again... but dirt is an important factor Black Gold and or Fox Farm all the way my friend.

it appears to be overwatered to me, possibly combined with heat problems. whats your ambient temp, test the temp on the plants level to.

People need to stay away from blue mystic unless they are experienced growers. It is a very picky strain that does not respond well to small swings in ph & locks out nutrients very easily due to the picky blueberry genes. Amateur growers need to stay away from these whether they are regular or auto strains & just grow simple things like northern lights or skunk on a 12/12 light cycle from seed.

No offense to the author of the thread, just information i have gathered from looking at blue mystic grows. It seems to be an advanced degree of difficulty to grow well. I hope it turns out ok for you in the end!

I had absolutely no problems with my 2 Blue Mystics. One of which was grown in Soil, the other in my Aerogarden.

Contrary to what Rombomb420 noted, my 1st hand account of this strain demonstrated strong vigor and resistance to various fluctuations (Heat, PH, Light Burn, Over Feeding, Under Feeding)...etc..etc....
(Unlike a True *Or implied to be a true* blueberry plant which is VERY finicky when it comes to feeding and the environment it's grown in, Blue Mystic is not part of this "Group of Blue's")

Never was a worry, she came back like athletes foot! Strong and with a vengeance! lol :>

Note: My ladies were not Auto's they were fem-Nirvana's.

Here's some suggestions.

1.) Use Distilled water
2.) What kind of Drainage do you have setup?
3.) What is in your soil that you've added? (i.e. Perlite)
