Blue Mystic Fem Auto In FF Ocean Forest

Recently I got my Nirvana Blue Mystic Fem Auto seeds. This is my first time growing and I am doing it indoors in a Space Bucket. I got a bag of FF Ocean Forest, but keep hearing that it is too hot and will burn my seeds. I don't want to transplant, as I hear it is best to plant Autos in their final place due to short lifespan. I have what I think is a solution and I wanted to know if it would work.

I was thinking of filling the bucket with FFOF, but making like a softball-sized indent in the middle, filling that indent with a more neutral soil, like Happy Frog, and planting the seed in that ball. My thought was that the seed would grow safely in the neutral soil, and by the time the roots reach the FFOF outside of the ball of HF, the plant would be mature enough to handle the "hot" soil. Would this work?

I concern that maybe when the roots reach the FFOF, it will have the result of a transplant, perhaps because the roots are not used to touching the new soil. Or maybe the tips of the roots would still burn as they reach the FFOF. Please help if you can. I can't seem to find any information making me confident enough to just plant Blue Mystic in FFOF. Some say it's too hot, some say not.

Thanks for the help guys!

Many people will use FFOF with perlite mix from start to finish. Yes, OF is 'hotter' than HF, but it will be just fine. IMO, you do not need to make the ball of HF in the middle, that is just extra work AND changing soils during the grow for an Auto is a bad idea. Go with one or the other, HF or OF. HF will do just as well from start to finish although you will need to add more nutes as you go. The OF will cover you for 3-4 weeks.

Personally, I'd use OF from start to finish, and MANY others have as well. GL.
