They had the good line from dj as always described as a "stretch indica " theres was the best ive tried but that was ages ago mind you there is a seperate line from canada also called kootenay blueberry but thats meant to be a afghan line that tastes of blueberry i wonder if thats the one folks are talking about that predates djs line
It may have been the one we had. We flew the cuttings back to Eastern Ontario and the legend began lol.

Ilgm...odd, I know...but the three feminized I just last grew out were loaded with blueberry terps. Pheno #1 & #3 we're the most pungent, #2 was the weakest but had the best bud structure of the three but still had a slight blueberry that picked up a hint of cheese after drying. #1 & #3 were so strong, my house smelled like blueberries. I am just down to #1 & #2 in jars, been curing for over 3 months and the strongest (#1) just keeps smelling better and better but #2 seems to just keep getting stronger. Half a nug and I'm fucked for like 3 hours.

Just started another 3 mainlines and it is one I will definitely keep in rotation to keep the jars full.

I’ve tried many attempts at replicating the blueberry from many different breeders and nothing matches what we had going here in the late 80’s. There were a few epic strains that we never gave a thought to. We thought they’d be here forever. The best I’ve smoked is tiestick in summer of 1985 that was fire.

What a fucking waste of money...did you attempt to make it right with breeder? He posts here occasionally crying about something or other. Good luck!
I sent him an email. Telling about it , and asking where to find the freshest batch of seeds, as I was really up to trying once more...Didn't even get a reply... Im going for Blueberry Muffin next instead...

Picked up some some dispensary HSC Blueberry Muffin. It's not nearly as BB as the DJ Short I grew last summer. It's seems as though the blueberry on the HSC is more represented by color than terps.

DJs breeders choice mix 2 had a really nice female - crystal drenched small spears with a blueberry cereal smell at chop, cured into pungent super sweet blueberry juice. Flavor a bit light, hoping to find another with better flavor eventually. High is super nice - comfortable, enjoyable, fun etc.

Obv a little bias being from western Canada but BC blueberry that was everywhere 20 years ago was and will always be the only true BB. Blue/Grey/green buds. Super sweet dank, fluffier bud structure.

I feel like I have seen seeds crossed with BC blueberry heirloom recently, however due to my location I still have cuts available to me that are still pretty true to the 90's genetics so I never pulled the trigger on any beans.

Why not go for cherry or grape strain crosses??? Those terps are much easier to come but either way think I posted a few pages back but I've run dynasty genetics and have got blueberry terps phenos a few of dynasty strains...I'd go for the bluniverse, huckleberry kush, blue heron, blue magoo and there a few others.

Another company I'd look into is calco genetics, I don't know much about them but it's say he worked a older dj short blueberry cut he got from dj into his line which are all blueberry crosses, might be worth a shot. Calco's strains caught my eye because they sound so tasty with strains like wedding pie x blueberry syrup and cherry AK x blueberry syrup. The blueberry syrup is clone only dj blueberry x humble pie.

I got 10 bb seeds from dutch passion in 2003. Out of 10 I had 4 distinct phenos. Purple/blue indica, Purple blue thai, Green indica, and green thai. They all reaked of bb.The thin thai leaved plants made you energetic and paranoid. The indica looking plants were relaxing and had a loooong lasting stone. Wish I bought more seeds or kept a cut. It was syrupy sweet bb goodness. For sure the best buzz and longest lasting I've ever had. You'd be baked as hell but wanted to smoke more because it tasted so good. I've got some seeds I picked up in Amsterdam a couple of years ago. I'll probably give then a shot next time I'm living in a legal state again.
