I bought some about two years ago. When i was in toronto. Along with shiskaberry X budha and lionhart X white widow. I have to say i wish i got all blueberry skunk. i only bought 5 from each and only ended up with 2 bs skunk females. the yield was not nearly as good but man this was some good shit. I couldnot stop smelling it. it smells like cotton candy with a spice. You made a very good choice.

I have 3 Skunkberrys by Peak Seeds vegging now, he gets 4 1/2 stars on Greenman's page.

Skunkberry (indoor/outdoor)

F1 hybrid. Skunk (Peak) female pollinated with Blueberry (SAG) male. I’m tempted to say this is our best strain. Large juicy tops with that fantastic high most crave. Easy to grow, fert tolerant, commercial strain. 60/40* indica/sativa. Eight-nine weeks flowering indoors. Med/tall-tall height.

Hey there...

I've been checking out Peak online for a while...maybe you can help me answer a few questions:

1. How was the stealth? No details please
2. Freebies?
3. Germ rates and perceived quality?
4. Delivery time to the US?

Thanks...I've been trying to decide whether to order a batch from them. I like the looks of their strains...and the possible value.

Same as everyone else, I wouldn't worry too much. Use a false name and drop box in the US regardless.

2. Freebies?

The seeds were so cheap I'd be embarressed to ask for freebies. Get the mix pack: 20 mixed seeds for $40 US, or $30 CAD if you are of the choosen people.

3. Germ rates and perceived quality?

I've germed 3 Skunkberry and 5 mix - promix, distilled water, 16 oz cups, cling Saran Wrap - and all popped within 48 hours, 7 closer to 24.

4. Delivery time to the US?

I'm not privy to that information, but I do have some pricing:

Seeds are sold in packs of ten (20 pack for mixed)
$40US per pack for all orders outside of Canada
$30CA per pack for Canadian orders
Free world-wide shipping

I was a bit concerned about the shipping because the seeds took almost 3 weeks to get to me from the time I mailed the bank draft, I've gotten seeds from Dr Greenthumb and Attitude within 2.

This is one of those companies that you look at and think "30 bucks for seeds? Must be like a puppy farm of seed banks!" Then you see the Greenman rating and realize that these guys are concentrating on providing 6 strains of the best genetics they can produce.

Can't wait to try Peak bud.

As I understand breeding nomenclature it goes female x male in crosses. So Blueberry Skunk should be a BB female by a Skunk male and Peak's Skunkberry is their skunk crossed with a Blueberry male(Sagamartha's actually). They both should be great. I think skunk can be a real nice high but still sativa dominant and introducing the BB on either side probably smooths it out a lot. Adding the skunk male in the Blueberry Skunk should improve yield but OTOH since BB is a relatively low yielder doesn't surprise me if it's not a big producer either. I imagine either strain would be really good.

Go easy on the nutes to start with because everything I've read says Blueberry likes low nutes at the beginning and increase as it builds tolerance. So when you do start feeding, try half the recommended amount especially if using non organic nutes.

Peak seeds gets good reviews.

Thanks VirginH!

I'm just starting to get intereted in genetics - if I understand correctly it is the female will carry the dominante genetics and the male will add characteristics?

I know that even if the above understanding is in the correct line of thinking it is too simplistic to give justice to even a cannascience explanation of plant genetics - but, is that somewhat correct or will the mother and father both influence the offspring evenly?

I'll do some research, just a quick "Yeah that's in the right direction." or "Fuck you're stupid." would be appreciated.
