If u have any of those left.. add a catalyst, specifically I add Botanicare Liquid Karma to my seed germination regimen. You're describing exactly how some of my really old beans behave.. although Space Monkey isn't that old.. they'll crack and look like they're starting to germinate and then just die. When applying 7.5mg/per gal of Liquid Karma to your Viva paper towel sauna.. it'll surely give you a higher chance of success. I also recommend sitting the seeds in the fridge the night before. Doing simple things like that can save/help even the most stubborn of seeds. Btw if you do decide to try this.. always store Liquid Karma in the fridge.

I have a male from my pack of BBHP ive kept around for breeding. Its one hardy plant for sure!!

Not here, I didn’t get that one.
BUT, I did grow out D9 Thai x DLA 5 last summer and still have a vial of pollen in the deep freeze.
If you want it when yours begin to flower, I’ll gladly send it your way (for some seeds in return, of course, ha!).

Could make an interesting cross of:
50% DLA 5
25% Panama
25% D9 Thai

Hmmm I may take you up on that offer. Do you have pics of the male it came from? In my pack I popped 5 and got 2 males and 3 females. They are re-vegging now after sexing (Some very foul smells coming off these babies). I plan to open pollinate for more seeds of it.

I do, but it isn’t much to look at.
I sex test when seedlings, then flower males when only a few inches tall, using a light dep method.
Collect, dry and store pollen for my seasonal ‘preservations’ all before June is finished.
Store it till needed later.

I know I miss out on seeing the males in their full size glory, but this method takes away the stress of flowering males at the same time as my large outdoor females. (I only grow outdoor).

I could also send you some f2s, if interested. Pics of females I grew should be in this thread somewhere.

Photo was taken after pollen had been collected and it had been neglected for some time, forgive the yellowing leaves.

Is there anyway to contact Bodhi with customer service type questions? I know ms bodhi used to answer dms. But i don’t think that’s an option anymore.
 
Unfortunately to my knowledge he doesn’t respond to DMs. I’ve tried a couple times over the years and have never received a response that way. Ms bodhi used to be the only way to get questions answered.
