Well that was basically the question. Have you run RSO with 99% Ethanol? Should be the same process that he shows on Youtube. He uses Naptha, which I'm not interested in.

Yes Rrog. I don't think it matters what solvent you chose to use. The process is the same, and the key is to thoroughly purge the oil of the solvent.

Edit: No, I haven't tried making it with Ethanol. Only 99% iso. This will only be my second batch, so I am by no means an expert.

Is ethanol a good solvent to use for oil? I know it doesn't work for beans to clean glass pipes whereas isopropyl works great. I took my first dose of Tasigna today. No ill effects so far.

Good news, Woods. Good that we're talking about RSO-type extracts, too.


I use 99% Iso and 99% Ethanol for cleaning and I'd say they work about the same, as far as I can tell. Both work worse when 70%, etc.

...if yer starting any oil, plus meds... it cld add to any fatigue, but only at first/ walks in yard n hood, circulating always awaken my senses , i hydrate (+safety, take-five..) and wellness, peace n frwd energywoods
