Bong construction

stole a few things from the lab today. wanted to know if there are any household items i could use to cut a hole through the glass and if you need a special kind of glue to put the two together. any help would be great

but i suppose you would be able to heat a metal rod. to the point where it melts the glass.

but make sure not to make it an instant change in heat or it will shatter the glass.

You'd need a diamond tipped drill bit.

It would be quite tricky.

fill the vials or whatever with sand before you drill, if you don't the glass will crack very easily

can i find a diamond tip drill bit at home depot? and is there any special type of glue for glass on glass?

yeah, the glue is called glass lol, watch the youtube videos about phX youll need to be able to blow glass though if you want glass on glass

Are you talking about borosilicate lab glass? Like an Erlenmeyer flask?

Borosilicate glass is pretty tough. I'd figure it would be tough to drill and melt together.

I'd like to know how it turns out though, man. That would be badass in the most dorky way possible.

Cut the bottom off a graduated cylinder and stick it into an Erlenmeyer with a test tube coming out the side for the mouthpiece... Sick!

Are we really discussing this? Save your lunch money and buy a nice piece. But a cutting torch would melt it.
