Bong Suggestions?

Hey guys, first I'd like to apologize because I'm not very good at posts... :bigjoint: I've been looking for a new bong, I've had around 5-6 different bongs but I'm looking for a new one and I don't really know what I want...

I do however know I want a bong thats made for quality smoking, now, I don't want a simple plain bong, I want something thats a joy to look at. I have a RooR, it's a Straight Tube and honestly I want something different.

I think what I'm looking for is something around 17" (I dont like small bongs that much) with perculators, ice catcher. My price range is anything up to 300$ (Canadian)

Also I couldn't find any sites other than GrassCity and EveryoneDoesIT to buy online, is there any other sites you could recommend me to browse, maybe I'll see something that I'd like?

Thanks :-P:leaf:

I bought a hurricane 1000 goldeneye. It's truly a work of art, they hand blow them in austria, make holes in the sidewalls with lasers (to aerate the smoke & spin it), and my piece is fumed with silver nitrate. Everyone hits it says its the smoothest bong theyve ever smoked out of. I've had roors, toros, zongs, illadelph, zob, etc. I still love my hurricane and would never trade it :)

It's a joy to smoke, hold, and just have as a decorative piece on the table :D

Thanks for the site :)

I've been looking at the Hurricane bong for a few days now, could you explain the difference between the 250/500/750/1000 in the names? Also, I noticed the GoldenEye is more expensive than frosted or just clear, is there a reason for this? Hurricanes are new to me, I'm not too informed when it comes to them.

Theres not much to them. Don't worry dude.

the 250/500/750/1000 is the size. The goldeneye is fumed and the silver nitrate costs $ so that's why its more than the clear and frosted.

I like the goldeneye the best because it looks better/different when it gets dirty. With the frosted you cant really see the smoke swirl which is no fun, and the clear just gets dirty quick.

Ah I see, last Hurricane question, it's about the size again lol... Whats the height/Diameter of a 250 compared to a 1000?

Well I believe the 250/1000 is a measurement of volume. So a 1000 would have 4x the volume of a 250. As for height/diameter, every one is different because it's completely hand blown. The feet are hand pulled and vary in size/angle which also changes the dimensions.

I have two ash catcher bulbs and there are noticeable differences, I assume this is also true with the actual bong.

I want to get a diffused roor downstem, & roor ash catcher when I got like $300 to spare. I think that would make it pretty ill.

If you want to compare pics look at this page

Notice how the ash catchers remain the same size (there are 2 different sized stems though)

I'm a big fan of Roor. They're built incredibly well (the ones I've owned anyway). My last Roor hit the hardwood floor from 16" table probably 8 or 9 times before it shattered on my garage floor.

excellentpipes.com look at the one called Bong Carnivourus or something like that. I own it and love it. I hate percolated bongs...I used to own a 2 chambered PHX and its was a bitch to clean out.
