Boogie blue?

So l ordered some Nectar for the Gods nutes from monstergardens since I saw them on sale and they sent me a free 'boogie blue'. Apparently it's some type of filter you attach to a hose or faucet and it dechlorinates the water as it passes through.

Has anyone used one?

I'd like to break out my meters and see what it does to my tap water, but I think I'm going to save it for the outdoor season next year.

it says carbon/copper. I've heard carbon charcoal filters raise ppm. no?

"effectively scrub approximately 35,000 gallons of water of 99+% the chlorine and 87% of the chloramine compounds used in municipal water supplies. Using a sizable quantity of highly effective KDF 85 & KDF 55 copper/carbon based filtration membrane material, the Boogie Blue water filter will perform it’s specific duty of removing compost tea’s #1 enemy, chlorine"

says it lasts a year

That would essentially be the same as one of the filters used in my counter top RO unit. It will work well for you.
