Border Patrol Agents Find 600 Pounds of Marijuana

TUCSON - Border Patrol agents in the Tucson sector seized more than 1,800 pounds of marijuana over the weekend, valued at around $1.4 million.

The latest seizure happened when agents discovered 13 people traveling on foot with what appeared to be carpet attached to the soles of their shoes in order to conceal their footprints.

Agents later found 600 pounds of marijuana, but did not find the group.
