It runs at 180-200w. You can expect it to perform like a 250w HPS.
The 1000w claim is based on the fact they are using 10w LEDs but they're running them around 2w each.
You can veg and flower with one. But as I said your light will be equivalent to a 250w HPS.

Wow 180-200. Drivers will suck so at least 10% is for driver. So maybe 160 watts to actual LEDs. And they're 20% efficient which is worse than hid so...... That's more equal to a 100w HPS.....
They're way cheaper used on Craigslist and eBay....after the suckers try to grow with them.

Get a total of wattage you want. And they'll still suck.... But not as much as Mars hydro or boss or other epi led loghts

Hid is generally your MH and HPS lights.
Cob is led.....but it's a board with many led chips.
Cob means chip on board
Hid means high intensity discharge.
Shitty LEDs like Mars is somewhere around 20% efficient.
Hid is about 35
Cobs are up to 70.....depending on how hard they're ran and which versions.

To spend the least money the timber grow lights company has a $400 did kit that's awesome. You don't have to do much....maybe mess with some strings to hang them is all. Or build a frame for like $20. 4 cobs for 400$
Other than that.....NGL has some low priced lights that are impressive. 2 cobs for 360$~
And then lowest is go green LEDs. 450$ for 4 weaker cobs on shitty drivers.
