Nice. How did you deal with mold? I live a little farther south and had to pick all mine end of sept/early oct because of mold. Some were done, but a few could have went a little longer. Just curious, because I'm already thinking about next year and was looking at strains that finish first or second week of october at the latest because of the mold.

Hi no mold on these ak-47. Buds are small, no frosty trichomes. The big plant is 2 years old, and than I have 3 clones from that. I had a couple of Northern Lights, they matured in August, and did have mold, lost a couple of buds. Like you, I need early flowering strains, Northern Lights seems to be one. Grew Bubblesicious, they are small but the auto flowering strain flowers early, but they were only 2 feet tall. Last year I grew 10 seeds from Nirvana but only 2 were female, sticking with feminized seeds now needless to say. I don't know if it is worth waiting to harvest, but no hard freezes yet. i just use compost, no fertilizer or insecticides. Had trouble with slugs and deer, a deer ate most of a Northern Lights. Watering was a bitch, it was a hot dry summer. Looked at your grow journal, it was very interesting and informative, maybe I will do one next year. The buds on the northern lights were big, they would get wet and not dry out, probably helped mold growth. With ak-47 it is hard to get 3 months of flowering because of cold weather and low light levels, (with ak-47, anyway) T
