I have just switched over to the Botanicare Pure Blend Pro lineup and I am looking for any advice, comments, suggestions or recommended feeding schedules.

My medium is 75/25 Fox Farm's Ocean Forest/Fox Farm's Light Warrior with 10-15% added perlite.I will use Botanicare's feeding chart as a guide but at 50% strength.
Botanicare Base Nutrients
Pure Blend Pro Grow 3-2-4
Pure Blend Pro Bloom Soil 1-4-5
Botanicare Supplements
Botanicare Cal-Mag
Liquid Karma
Sweet Raw
AquaShield (Is this similar to Hygrozyme???????????)
Hydroplex - Bloom Maximizer 0-10-6

H & G Roots Excelurator (1/4 tsp every 3 waters til 3 week flower)
Hygrozyme (VEG - 1/2 TSP Per Gallon - Flower 1-TSP Per Gallon til week 6)
Super-thrive (few times in veg)

Would love any input if you have used these products before regarding dosage, frequency, effect, likes, dislikes basically any info that you might find helpful to someone who is switching over to Botanicare.

What is BMO? also I was told coco and Peat moss are pretty much the same thing. How strict is everyone on there PH with soil. I was told it should be between 6.2 - 6.8 or 6.5 - 6.8. I also got lost with the cal mag and Karma on the feeding. Here is my issue, your supposed to feed nutrients and then plain water, BUT it says to use those two with every watering. Does anyone have a thought on that?

I've been using botanicare for a while, its all I ever used and all I ever will use...i will say best way is to start 1/4 strength from what the bottle or charts say, then slowly work your way up. Personally I wouldn't go stronger than a littler more than half the recommended dosage because not too many strains need more than that...Also I've done half strength every feeding and every other feeding and saw no difference, so just use every other. Once in flower don't use hydroplex right away I'd wait until at least end of second week and go very light as it will cause nute burn easily, but works great. Any other questions just ask and good luck

I use botanicare, im on my first grow but I haven't had any problems and it seems to be doing a great job! The guy at my hydro store recommended it over fox farm nutes, but I think im going with fox farm next time just to try other nutes and find out what I like the best so I can stick with it. But yeah try it out forsure its good stuff

I have used these for several years. I found I do best with just the Pro Gro, Liquid Karma, and the Aqua Shield. Then switch to the Bloom when flowering. I did worse with all the extras. Just treat any problems when you have them with the extras. Cal-Mag is ok to use. Seems to lack a bit in that area.

Liquid Karma.....I would use SEA GREEN instead! FAR better source for Humic's, Fulvic's and the B vit's.....

Sweet Raw......65.00 + per gallon! How about you make your own?
Put 4 cups of water in a pot and bring to a boil.....
to the boiling water add 1-1/2 tsp of dark brown sugar and 8TBL of epsom salts......
Boil and stir till dissolved and add enough water to equal 1 gallon.

Pour this into your empty $65 bottle of "Sweet Raw" and enjoy your LESS then $2.00 replacement!
Been doing this for several years now.....works exactly the same!

AquaShield?? Don't need it......don't be sucked in by claims of "does this, does that".

Hydroplex......ouch! The "abuse" of high P bloom foods/additives are the leading cause of yellowing leaves in flower.
This is one of the most asked questions around here,,,"Why are my leaves turning yellow 4 weeks into flower". The most common incorrect answer is "Needs more N".

Now then, with that said......I would say that if you still want to try this stuff. Use once at week 4 at 1/2 strength and again at week 6 at full strength,,each time only once! You have been warned.

G&H Roots Ex. I only use this during cloning and for a watering after transplants (up potting). Why waste the money on something that's not needed other wise.

Hope this helps
