Botanicare PureBlend? Questions..

So i'm considering switching from the 3-part flora, to the botanicare pureblend.
Im tired of using chemical-based nutrients, and have heard pureblend is great.

However, im curious what everybody else thinks, and also what are the downsides?
Since its organic, its 1-part during grow, and 1-part during bloom..
So does this mean there are other things i should be adding to my res to compensate?
For example, should I be adding CalMag+ to it? or other things?
For those of you using it, what do you use with it?

Assuming i want to keep it simple, is the Pureblend 1-part sufficient by itself?
Or like i mentioned, do i need to add CalMag and possibly other things?

By the way im running a hydro ebb-and-flow bucket system.

Any kind of feedback would be greatly appreciated! :D

Subscribed. I really have no idea, but I received my sample kit just yesterday with Pure Blend Soil Grow and Bloom. The sample kit also included calMag, so I guess it can't hurt. I'm thinking I'm gonna run the PureBlend along with Calmag and Liquid Kharma plus Bud Candy (would go with Sweet Raw instead, but Bud candy is what I have).

So what are the upsides and downsides to using an Organic-Based nutrient such as the Botanicare Pureblend Pro line, rather than a Chemical-Based nutrient such as the Flora 3-part, or Advanced Connoisseur line?

Ive gotten mixed reviews, however ive heard that Organic nutes will produce better product, whereas Chemical nutes will produce better yeild.. What does everybody think about this statement? True or False?

Ive always used Chemical based nutrients (in fact, ive never used an Organic nutrient line before), and the plants seem to do just fine, but my main reasons for wanting to switch to an Organic nutrient line (other than the ease of it being a 1-part solution), is the chemical SALT buildup in my buckets.. Im running a hydroponic 12-site Ebb&Gro bucket system, with hydroton as my medium. And it doesnt take very long before a layer of orange-colored salts start to become noticeable in my bottom bucket. Now at first I thought perhaps it was from the hydroton (clay pebbles), but I do a very good job of washing and rinsing all of my hydroton before i put them in my buckets, so that should not be causing so much of this buildup in my buckets. I also do a nice flush/rinse every so often during each grow, and again it doesnt take long before my bottom buckets start to get this orangeish-colored crap collecting in them. So my conclusion is that is MUST be chemical-salts from running chemical-based nutrients.. Does this sound like a reasonable assumption?

Im hoping the switch to an Organic nutrient will solve this issue, and make my grow more clean overall. But im still not completely sold on switching, because there are many wonderful nutrient lines out there that are Chemical-Based. In fact, there are very FEW hydroponic nutrient lines that are Organic - Botanicare producing most of them.. Im still concerned about the ups-and-downs to switching, and weather or not its the best way for me to go - so hopefully ill see some more great replies from all of you on this topic!

Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated! I look forward to hearing what everybody thinks!
