Botanicare Vs Advance Nutrients

What up RIU Just wanted to see if any 1 has use any of the 2 brands on the title, and wich 1 you preferred more I was looking into botanicare product cuz ive seen the results and was very high grade results ,I Hear nothing bad about AD other than prices but you get what you pay for i always say, I currently use the Fox Farm Line and results are great but want to use some thing a little more complex and beneficial.

I like botanicare a lot but------I first tried it when I knew what I was doing---

I don't like AN at all, and don't use not one single tiny little packet of their products for anything...because I tried them the very first time I ever used any nutes at all and it all sounded so easy and then BAM! >>>>>>>>>>>> POW! ---duhna nana nana nana DEAD PLANTS! So I used them when I had no idea what I was doing and of course Got bad results...is it their fault? Probably not, but it has never made me question again if their products are worth their cost...

I use random little tidbits of things and find a mix I like...

What botaincare nutes are you thinking about using? What medium are you growing in? Is an "Organic" Nutrient important to you?

Ive been growing Organic for the most part but honestly if i can get the same quality from a Chemical base nutrient program then i would consider it. I was thinking of running House and Garden for Flowering what was Highly recommended From a guy i knew that grew straight Fire, and also i heard that AD connoisseur A&B is really good for Veg so maybe ill give that a try What do you guys think.

And has any1 used any of these products Im sure theres plenty of people on here with info on this Thanx

I use AN 3 part, Ph Perfect & the associated stuff.
First time DWC, seems to be working fine for me, I just follow the provided chart and instructions.

I am using botanicare for coco and so far so good. See how it tasted when jar time is done

Is the 3 part AN you use chemical??? and what is your guys opinion on the outcome of cure buds,coming from a chemical or organic nute program?

don't switch to chem ferts from organic. You will see a difference.... but you won't like it.

i have used the full botanicare line for a few runs and had great results. ive never used A.N but have heard good things about it exept the price. the only thing i ive found with the botanicare line is that if your using coco its real easy to get deficiency's and i always was trying to catch up to something.

What do you use?? AN has an organic line aswell right i think its IGUANA JUICE or something ha

I've used AN 2 Part for years and I really like it. There is a learning curve to it and it is a little pricey; not as bad as you think cause most nutes are watered down while AN is super strong. You end up using half the recommended dosages just to keep your ppm's in check. I've done side by side grows with AN and Fox Farms, GH, and BC and none of them were close. I've never used Botanicare but I am trying Dyna next month for 2 runs and then I want to try House and Garden. I'd be more than willing to switch if something gave me better yields but I haven't found it yet.

Using organic bottled nuted in a hydro setup is basically pointless. Go check out Al. B. Fuct's threads in the Hydro or Indoor section. Totaly worthless and actually will lead to a shitload of deficiencies.

Actually price did have a lot to do with me using AN.

But then again I'm just growing for myself, in a small perpetual DWC.

If my setup was like a lot of posters here, costing thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars, I'd probably be spending a lot more on nutes too.

But It's not, so I don't.

I actually use a mix of almost all botanicare and ad products. I am in love with over drive, haha Seriously it is a shower. Botanicare makes a really solid, price friendly base that I use regularly (cns17) but I'm trying ad two part jungle juice against it right now to see if I notice any changes.
