Bought from BDS and Herbie....beginner looking for advice

So....I created an account on here years ago but life got in the way so I'm back with my first ever post. I'm sure my questions are repeats, but I hope not because I've made sure to read plenty of threads before I posted. Either way......

so I bought my first seeds stupidly from BDS (5 feminized kaya gold) before I read reviews about the bank and decided to purchase from Herbie (5 heavyweight fruit punch feminized) where I used super stealth, tracking, guarantee yadda yadda..so my questions are:

Was buying from BDS a complete waste of time, should I even bother with hoping to see something in the mail?
Because of Herbie needing a signature for a package (I'm in the US on the east coast) should I be worried about police being attached to the package?

I maintain my hope with BDS because although other people had bad experiences with them, they haven't screwed me over yet so I have no reason to be upset, I am just looking for a general consensus.

To anyone interested or paying attention....I received my seeds from both companies, but with very different experiences. Herbies came through with 5 stars, with an order placed on Monday and received by Friday. I contacted them and received excellent customer service, and the packaging had clearly been thought through very thoroughly.

BDS took about 3 weeks to get here, which isn't a big deal at all. No one has control over the mail. I never contacted them because I thought it was a lost cause, obviously I was wrong. I had a positive experience with both companies, but I definitely doing business with Herbies again. And Im sure people will think I'm a spokesperson because of my low post count, but i do more reading here than posting because I have more to learn that I have to offer.

I've ordered from BDS twice, once in Dec. '12 and more recently just this month. Both times the seeds got here (US) no problem. They have good customer service by e-mail. That was my experience.

I haven't ordered from any other companies.

I'm curious, is there a consensus as to which company has the best seeds?

Herbies was quick and super stealthy. I was surprised when I o9pened it.

I bought heavyweight fruit punch and liberty haze from Herbie's. Both are doing well, same five star rating for Herbie's, however it was my first buy too so I have nothing to compare . Have you started your fruit punch? This is my girl germed her 12/8View attachment 2960577

I bought seeds from BDS a few years ago. I got their Mango and grew it outdoors. It was bomb. Not sure about the true genetics but it was quality smoke so I wouldn't hesitate to grow that stuff out....

I'm growing heavyweight fruit punch. Germed 1 Nov 1, also have 1 clone that is doing pretty good. The oldest one, is acting a bit persnickety. Has become rather spindley with slowed growth.
