Bout 2/3 of the way through my FIRST stealth grow box experiment..

Alright guys, here's the deal.. I have a cabinet about 2 1/2 feet tall. I started a cabinet just to see if it would work using miracle grow soil on a decent strain of homegrown from my area. I took this pic I'm gonna attach yesterday, about 2 weeks since I switched the lights from 6500k 18on/6off to 2700k 12/12. One is starting to flower a little quicker than the other, and I'm 100% sure it's a female. But the other i'm just about 90% sure of being female because of how small the pistols are. I figure the bottom leaves are yellow because they're root bound and in miracle gro, lol. But i tried mixing a tsp of mg bloom booster in a gallon pitcher yesterday and using a cup or so to water the one on the right and the leaves already are starting to look a little better. I'm just worried about HOW MUCH TALLER WILL THEY GET??!! lol i switched the lights when they were 10" tall, because at the bottom of the cab they had about 20" of grow space from the soil to the lights. Then, i lowered them to the bottom of the cab because i thought they may grow a little quicker than they were but they shot up 3 inches in like 2 days so i raised them back up to the lights. They're still movin' right along though..

Any advice on this experimental grow is definitely appreciated. If you're just gonna dog me for using miracle grow, save it. I know it sucks, but it was all I had available at the time and it's my first grow. Advice on a good way to feed this soil during flowering for juicy buds would be the SHIT!!

thanks dudes

Ok quit moving your lights let them get within 1-3 inches of them then move light only 1 to 3 inches. as far as posting a pic insert image and upload it .

i did that man and i've searched all over the site on how to do it. I made a photobucket account and used the pic url like the insert pic instructions told me to. now it doesnt show up!!???????

start tying them down. they will continue to get taller for a bit still. Moving the plants farther away actually makes matters worse btw, it will mean the plants gonna stretch even worse and fill up the vertical space quicker. If i were you i would switch out 2 of the reds for 2 of the blues. Cannabis has 2 type of chloroplasts that absorb light and initiate photosynthesis. One of them interacts with red wavelengths and one of them interacts with blue wavelengths. So using only one is a waste of your plants abilities to make as much energy for growth as possible.

alright well im switching it then.. anything else i should be doing to make sure i get a decent yeild out of these and dont screw it up????
thanks again!!

your plants and setup Look good, especially for a first timer, you should have a decent yeild. be careful with feeding w/miracle grow(or any fert for that matter). If you start seeing the leaves getting dark green and/or tips dying its a sign the plants got more than enough for the time being and adding more would just burn them worse. Blackstrap mollasses is often used during flowering, about 1 tablespoon per gallon. It helps feed the beneficial microbes in the soil that break down things the plant cannot take up or has difficulty taking up into easy for the plant to absorb/take up forms. It contains trace nutrients as well. Make sure its unsulphured blackstrap mollasses. When you water how much do you water? how often are you watering?
