Hi Guys,

So my boveda 8 gram medium 62% RH came today and they have been sitting in the jars since this afternoon.

I can't see 1% of change in humidity so far and its been over 8 hours. Am I doing something wrong? Still stuck at 70% / 71% still.

And my humidity outside is 80%+ so they havnt gotten any drying from taking them out the jars for a few hours

Urrgghh

Tempted to pop 2 in each jar I got 10 and 4 jars holding upto 2 oz each ....

Anyone have any experience with these boveda packs, any suggestions?

I think the 8 gram Boveda packs are rated at 28 grams. I would recommend checking the Boveda website which is well organized, caters to our needs and gives pack size to volume ratios.

I just put mine in and still have not noticed any difference within 2 days. Going to try burping for a while. Sounds like we are in the same situation though... more dry time would be better. Paper bag it up.

you don't add the brovedia packs until after your internal jar herbs r/h stabilizes at 55-60% r/h max. this is the ideal curing zone to put the pack in. the packs do not help remove moisture from your drying herb, but keep it at a stable r/h for curing purposes. like a humidor, you don't put a freshly cut tobacco into a cigar wrap, roll her up, then put her in a humidor and think the brovedia packs are gonna remove the moisture. it doesn't work like that.
