Bovida packs change smell?

So I've got some dank sour diesel it's been curing in 64oz mason jars. I think they feel a bit over dried not dust dry but I plan on curing for 30 days before enjoying. My question is do you think after a 30 day cure adding a bovida pack will take away from the smell and flavor? Or change it ? Oh forgot to mention they have been curing for almost 3 weeks

I am on the fence with this one. I have tried them in a few different scenarios and I find if the weed tastes awesome, can be changed into not so tasty weed. But I have also found some weed that wasn't super great got better with the packs.

I guess if you are happy with the taste now, I wouldn't risk it but if it's not amazing, adding them might help.

Personally, I am not sold on them 100%. Probably not the answer you were looking for but it's just my opinion on them.

Well right now the bud is super dank it's sour d and it smells bomb but to the touch after 2 solid weeks of curing in jars it's to dry. I actually looked at I don't have the Bovida packs they are the boost ones blue and white. I'm going to use them on half my stuff and the other half not.

I think that's a great test. Please report back. Ive been seeing a lot of back and forth about it. I personally use them almost exclusively. If it does strip some terps etc, then I don't notice. But my end result is almost never as delicious as dispensary or my plugs designer weed. So maybe I'm not the best judge.

Ive also used them to rejuvenate some over dried 45% RH weed Ive acquired. It got it back up to about 58% with a 62% pack.

I've watched a ton of videos on this topic and I feel that it can't hurt especially if it's over dried no one wants to buy dry weed. I watched alot of Bovida vs Intergra boost packs and every videos outcome said the boost ones have better results. Bovida claims that it pushes the terps back inside the bud so when you crack the jar open you don't get hit with that smell right away untill you break open the buds or grand it. They always say don't use anything if you had a perfect dry at harvest but the last two of mine I went a lil to dry but nothing crazy

Been using em for years, terps disappearing is a myth. these stories come from people who dry their nug to dust and and expected the packs to save it, imo.
Same. I never really thought about it as deep as some people have. I also don't consider myself a "connoisseur". If it smells and smokes good then I'm happy.

Ill have to take a look into the Integra Packs. Ive never actually looked to see the alternatives. Its been Bovida or bust for me. I also use them for long term, post cure storage. Regardless of how "perfect" its cured. Am I wrong for doing so? Maybe. Do I care enough to change my method? No. But im also a man of science, so Id love to hear your experience. Maybe ill be swung to switch it up.

I make some pretty good pro-Boveda arguments in other threads. I'm kind of burned out on the topic now though. I've been using them for around 6 years and have used them to cure (uniformly stabilize moisture levels within the bud) pounds and pounds of loud weed going in and coming out.
For sure I've never had a bad experience with using bovida personally. When I harvest I'm alone so it takes me some time to trim it after it hand dries so those extra days of the weed hanging just dries them out more than I would like. So the packs put life back into those dry buds but it's just everyone around me says be careful they can change the taste and smell of your bud but honestly none of them grow weed lmao it's just hear say. I see no other option to re moisten them dried out buds

I've rehydrated 6 month old bone dry bud that I was planning to use for bho, and there were still a decent amount of terps left once they were revived. That doesn't always work, but even without the scent it's better than smoking dust. I don't understand people's disdain for them.
