You can smoke it. It will give you a small head change but taste like ass.
Scraping glass scare me. So i just wash it with rubbing alcohol and toss it.

Yes you can smoke the resin ball, it is harsh but will get you high. My friends usually only smoke resin when there out of the good stuff.
To get the rest out of your piece clean i would use Sea Salt ( The kind that is large granules not for a salt shaker but a salt grinder) and alcohol. Put both in there and shake around for a min, then wash clean with hot water.
Other than that there are cleaners out their developed just for this. If you want any recommendations for what company is the best let me know I've tried many, many brands and would be glad to share if your interested.

resin will not get you high. Think of it as a ball of remenents with most of the THC burt off due to its release at some 180 degrees or so. Therefor you are basically sucking in carsinagens. It forms a resin to protect you in a way. Through water very little carc. get through, and through a vape even less. You see if you use it right, and don't smoke ciggarettes. You will find you rarely take painkillers. You'll digest you food more predictably. I am from the school of prove to the world that MMU are clean, self safficiant, intellectuals that play well with others. DONT SMOKE THE RESIN......GET RID OF THE METAL BOWL> WHEN U SCRAPE IT YOU GET SLIVERS OF ALUM. THESE could END UP in your LUNGS!!!! Some people have adverse reactions to aluminum in thier system. Plus there is no way to tell the purity of the metal. I don't wanna scare you but i would invest in a glass medical utensil, before you get more medicine.

Resin does get you a very heavy high...I'll never smoke it again now that i know more about it. It's like smoking tar, and definitely worse then smoking raw heated plant material. Aluminum is so bad lol, it's been linked to alzheimers...but that's if it gets in your brain. can't be much safer if its in your lungs...
So basically you should find some more ganja asap, mids if you have to, and ditch the resin or sell it to some noob for an inflated price.

Dude, resin will give you a great high. I actually enjoy smoking resin... To me its sort of a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow... especially when combined with the plant.
To get all of the resin: scrape what you can and save it, then swish around rubbing alcohol in your bowl and let the rubbing alcohol evaporate.

It will get you high... But at the price of what? I use to smoke tar alittle but I just can't handle the ass taste. I don't mind tar on weed from a chamber pipe or chamber bong. I enjoyed that smoke and it had a nice taste, plus I've found when taking the weed out of the chamber it cleans it too.

you must be joking, not only does it get you high it only takes like 4 big rez hits for most people to get high.... its best to mix it with bud of course for a better taste but its fine on its own if ya dont got any...thats why u should take the biggest hits u can and hold em in as long as u can when smoking res and after 3-5 of them you'll be very high....

sorry guys little off topic but how can i get the res in my glass which i cant scrape out? i broke it in 2 pieces when i knocked it over off the table so i superglued it back together, wouldnt alcohol eat the super glue?

I doubt alcohol will eat the glue, but even if it does you can just glue the thing back together.
The problem with using salt is that you can't smoke the residue after the alcohol evaporates.
