I think your doin great, just like I started huh Bak...lol..and ya bak and hotrod will keep you straight...and BTW walmart also has the 4ft T5 HO for 10 bucks a double bulb hood and bulbs are only 8 or 9 bucks for a set of 2...that's what I'm using...and love to show it off..lol..

thanx man, ya you guys inspired me..lol..no really, ya shim and hotrod have given me good advice, but the best advice I got on these pages (and from you guys) was to read and research!!! I have my face in about 6 books at the moment..lol..I just can't get enough. I feel I understand so much more now, but with alot to learn yet...Let me finish this first grow and I'll get back to this comment..lol

And I recommend these for all noobs, and then read ur bible..lol..Marijuana Grow Bible that is..

What I do with my CFL's in the closet, is crack the door when it gets too warm (I run my lights at night, but on warm evenings it can get up to 80+ in there), and if it's cold, I almost close the door, and when really cold, I have an empty socket that I stick a regular incandescent bulb in for a little heat.

I'm with you brother, I mean when you can get it free on the net, it would just be "stupid" not to, and it's a quick download, and good reading.

I've haven't heard anything about cold affecting male/female (yet) I'm a noob too but trying to take in as much info as possible. I have a radiant heater, it has a thermostat so I can set it for 72 & leave it. I also have a 24 inch box fan in there blowing everything around, and a 6 inch exhuast fan in my ceiling (it goes to a roof vent 35 ft off the ground, only birds will smell it)..here's a shot of it before I tore the tinfoil off and painted the walls flat white...hope it helps you get some ideas..

If you want to find it, check my figong's recent posts if it will show, I know he was one there, but my recent posts are like 2 weeks behind:wall:
Mine has been like that for over a month.
