KC BRAINS KC33

I am going to have to pull these in 9 days. I wish I could leave them longer but unfortunately for other reasons I cant.
Its supposed to be rainy and cloudy for the next week so Im hoping they will finish up a bit more and dry off by then.

Here is a premature main cola that had some mold below it so I had to chop this one off, I already cut off the fan leaves.
It has a sweet tangy smell!

Hey it's better to harvest early than not at all right? Looks like you won't come off empty handed though. How are the Tri's looking on there? So what are the other reasons? If it's rain and stuff you're worried about then there's no way to tent and or cover them?

I dont have a microscope but it doesnt look like the calyxes are swollen enough and hairs are all white still.
I wont be able to cover them, I only have a certain time that I can dry them safely.

The strain is supposed to be mold resistant but your right I may get fukd

Looks pretty dam tasty and always better to get some then none but its a sad day when your girls arent reaching full potential . Was actually just looking at getting the kc33 x mango by Brains. Also about the rain just gently shake your plant during when there is none to get some of the water build up out the flower

It's to bad that your plant has taken this long to ripen up. I was going to try it next summer but if it takes this long to fully mature that's way to long for my short season. Thanks for telling me about this strain.

Looks good, 9 more days should help too!! Got any pics of the whole plant? I have some mind bender to try next year, which has some kc33 in it.

I chose this strain this year because it was supposed to be an earlier finisher and I like to harvest before Oct 1. Also it was supposed to be a good yielder, which it has turned out to look so far. I tried uncle bens topping technique but 95% of them just ended up with 2 main colas and I had to trim off the other 2 suckers because they were so small. Almost all are 8" tall with the 2 main colas and they started to fall over so make sure you start to stake them in late august. I also was looking for a strain that in case it didnt finish early would have mold resistant properties. Lastly something without a huge couchlock and body high where I dont feel like doing anything haha

Im at the 44th parallel and this years start was 3 weeks later (planted them June 21st) than last year, vegged for 9 weeks. Last year I just had some outdoor mix of seeds and they all finish pretty much by Oct 1.

I grew Mango 2 years ago planted on June 6th but it was my second outdoor and they had a lot of seed in it and it was finished by Oct 15.
Mango was supposed to be an earlier finisher but it wasnt, it had better bud/leaf ratio but I think thats just because it is 100% indica. The leaves on the mango were huge and the kc33 has thinner leaves with a a couple exceptions of more indica phenos. The KC33 is very bright lime green plants.

ONE more week!

I was going for strictly female seeds and my top choices this year were KC33 and Dr.Greenthumb's Iranian G13. The KC has sativa in it so maybe that makes it a bit later finisher.

Honestly if your living in the same area as me (above the 44th parallel) I dont think your going to get any earlier unless you grow autos. Possibly a week ahead. I have friends that live further south (42nd 1/2 parallel) and none of us have found a true early finishing strain as all the breeding companies would like to preach to you. Strains such as Northern Lights, Mango, Green Crack, Hollands Hope, Blueberry, White Widow, LSD, Frisian Dew, AK48, Pure Power Plant. Every year we try new stains that claim to finish by mid September and always finish in the same time between Oct 1 and 15. Doesnt matter how long you start them indoors even if they are showing preflowers they dont start flowering until early August.

Maybe next year I will try the Dr.'s

nice to hear some reviews on the kc33 as im starting up a batch for this year, I hope they turn out as big as yours do! wow those look nice, Ive got some almost 2 week old babies getting ready to be transferred out doors soon and im hoping that they will thrive like yours have! I have a longer growing season and I got kc33 because of the sativa properties because I don't wanna be couch locked as well! haha and also because I have a pretty long growing season so I look forward to growing sativas.. hopefully next year ill get some 100% sativas as I want to grow some enormous monsters outdoors.

you should review the high

im at 38 lat and im gonna get kc33 because i hear it was a super hardy plant..from the looks of alexonfire it dont appear to be..my humidity stays nearly 100% and delahaze is only plant i have grow that can handle this area..i got a bunch of new stuff this year to see though..green posion, easy sativa, purple maroc, blueberry headband, the church serious6,biddy early and heribei for the feminzed seeds..got HFH wild3,rocket chunk1&2 and breedbrads gg#3 so hopefully between these 20 plants i will set out at least 12-14 make it all the way..usally loose 3-4 to mother nature no matter what happens, rippers etc..i have read good reviews on spotnica from kc brains and dinafem blueberry hashplant

I got a pack 3 years ago
They only grew about 3 foot tall
Made some f2 only 3 foot tall
planted in march
but if i remember right
Were finished first of september for me that was early
had 12 footers near by of different strains

Not sure if seeds got mixed up or what by packager
but were suppose get bigger then that

Done tnr

For me i think brainsdamage were best
No mold
They were in a moist place
Just my experience anyhow
