The first time I did this I was trying to clone my plant and while cutting it with a razor blade I accidentally cut the plant in half from top to bottom and I thought I killed it, but then I left it alone for about a week and it basically grew like 2 plants, 1 was growing sideways and had 2 stalks, the other one was growing up and had like 4 stalks.
So here is the plant before being cut


here is what the cut looks like




And here it is at the bottom. I did not cut the whole plant in half, just the top. But now this will become 2 tops.

I thought you were doing some cross-species grafting experiments before. What became of them?

I am going to be trying everything, but the main thing I was talking about was the Mint and Pepper families.

Did you try using bungie cords or rubber bands to tie it down? And maybe Ozium could sterilize it without having to put something like rubbing alcohol on it.

no , i took the top off one cactus and stuck it on top off another , i think i used some tape to hold it in place .....but after a week it went rotten and infected the rest of the cactus!! Lol whatever man we all make mistakes :)


whats this ozioum ??

Ozium is what they use to sterilize hospital air.

Have you had any success with those? What have you tried exactly?
Do you have a particular goal or are you just tinkering?
