Brand new nanolux ballast 600w. very loud..help!

Hello all,

I have two brand new nanolux og series 600w ballasts and when they are running there is a very loud high pitch. They are both plugged into the same power bar (i will try changing the power bar but don't think that will make a difference) Both are running at 100% output (options of 50,75,100,110)

Does anyone have any experience stopping the high pitch noise or do I need to start looking into building a noise dampening box around it.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have 3 lumatek ballists, an Apollo, and magnetic, and none of em make a noise....?

I just have a single Apollo 600 HID..
No noise whatsoever, you could hear a frog fart in the room it's in.
Your issue doesn't sound good...I hope you can find a good solution.....good luck

If they are brand new, take em back. If you can't then they ain't new. Prepare for problems in the near future. It's a digital, should be very quiet.
