Brand new to this and I've got a few ?'s

Hey everyone,
So this is my first time attempting to grow and I had a few questions...
It being my first time I was looking into growing something short enough for a balcony without being really noticeable to the public eye, so I decided on some sort of autoflower variety and ended up buying some 7 dwarfs trojan seeds, has anyone had any good results with this seed bank? I heard somewhere they were kinda new, but they seemed legit.

Heres the issue though, it being fall/winter, would I be able to grow anything? I live in northern california just south of SF and our winters get down to high 40's mid 50's on average... I do have a mini greenhouse (3"x3"x4") but not sure even then if that'll help.

Any info is much appreciated!

I can't give any info on the type of plant you are growing. I can give you a little info on climate recommendations. If you can put your plants outside over the winter without them freezing, that's good. What direction is your balcony facing? How much light per day do you expect over the winter? Conventional wisdom says that 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark will make your plants flower. I think that it would be smart to get that greenhouse out so that your temps and humidity will be around what is recommended for pot (70 - 80 F 40 - 60% humidity). I assume that your mini greenhouse is 3' x 3' x 4'. You may not get to these recommendations over the winter, but I think you could grow something decent in your greenhouse.

Best of luck to ya.

A lot of autos can still get unexpectedly big so you might have more fun with it than you expect.Autos will probably do theyre thing no matter the amount of light just dont expect much dry product from a winter plant. You will need to get that plant a hat or coat or something if you want it to grow very much.Start it inside until the root system is established.good luck.

Hey, sorry for the delay... thanks for the info/tips guys, my balcony is facing south if that helps and yeah I meant to type 3' x 3' x 4' lol I'm just debating on whether to grow em now cause one of my buddies wants to grow with me(if that makes sense... half the plants my place, half at his) but we'll see, I'm thinkin I'll just give it a shot and see what comes of it... but like I said before, any sort of info is more than welcome :D

I was thinking of possibly using some sort of grow light to possibly help out with the heat/lighting and see what I can accomplish over the winter months... I've seen a few lights at my local lowes and i was wondering if any of them would work? I've seen a SYLVANIA 60 watt incandescent grow bulb and also and also a SYLVANIA 70 watt indoor HPS bulb... I have the actual light base but just need a bulb... any suggestions? and if not either of these two what bulbs would you recommend that I could buy at say a local hardware store.
