Alright, brand new grower here. more like primary investor, got tired of trying to invest in grows and people running off with my product once harvest time comes so i'm giving it a shot myself. Basically know almost nothing about growing. I've purchased 2 24 plant hydroponics systems, in which i plan on growing 48 feminized auto flower plants of various different strains. i have a 8x12 grow room. i need some help with pretty much everything. how many lights do i need, what kind of lights do i need, what kind of light cycle should i run. How often should i cycle new air into the room. should i run both grow systems and the lights all through their own individual ballasts. Anything that could shed some light on this whole process is appreciated. alot of money invested, in need of help

I'm sorry to sound like a dick here, but I'm afraid you're way in over your head here. If you are serious about this, than I'd strongly suggest you slow down, back up, and start SMALL. You're proposing starting with zero knowledge and running a room that would take someone with years of knowledge to operate successfully. You need to do your own reading here, buy a couple of books about growing, and then come back to fill in the blanks. 48 plants is a huge responsibility, and will take several hours per day, at the very least to run it. Read read read........than plant a few in soil or a small hydro system, get a few run under your belt, than off to the races. I'm just shaking my head in confusion at the ball it takes to even consider this, it will not end well.

I wish you the best of luck brother............I only say this stuff in true honesty, and experience.

Ive got to agree with the guy above me. You need to start with the basics just running like two to four plants so you can get used to the process and the setup before you go waisting 48 seeds on a nutrient or light problem

You wasted a lot of money. You're going to run a 48 site hydro system, and you don't even know the basics? bowlfullofbliss is right.

I agree--- we can get 2 lbs off a grow of only 8 plants under 2 1000w lights...
If you do not have the basics down and a couple really simple grows under your belt-- this is doomed to fail....

I agree with the other fellows on this only cause i usually grow big outside and thought well hell if i can handle a big grow outside then inside i should have no problem. well i have a lot of experience outside but its different when you move indoors. I started out inside with 32 and thought i can take care of this ill have more time and its easy access because i don't have to drive 10 miles and walk another 3. i got in over my head i have had problemslike you wouldn't believe. i would do as they suggested and start small get a few grows under your belt and move your way up. i have everything under control for the time being but you never know when something will go wrong. i know I'm in over my head and i have experience . it is everything i can do to keep it going. hope ya take this into consideration.

There is a lot of things that you probably dont know or realize. Im not sure you fully understand how to grow indoors because its not like the outdoors no sir inside ventilation, lighting, and hydroponic... well hydro is hydro. The lighting is a big deal and so is ventilation along with temp and humidity btw harder to manage those two with big groups like you were thinking of growing. Start small go grow box.. it will help you to better understand the basics which you will need. I can help give you a small time set up but im not gomma set u up to fail. Listen to everyone there is a lot of first hand experience here and you should junp on it.
