sounds like you will have to seek out this pardon...in order to loose the record.

pardon is not a expungement of your record.

also the us border has an old list from canada and your name could still be on it when trying to cross.
in that case you're screwed

It is a cash grab just like everything else around prohibition 2.0 has been. At over $600 a pop, the government sees nothing but dollar signs.

pardon for cannabis will be FREE

pardon DOES NOT loose or erase a record.
it removes the guilty verdict, record stays !
the pardon is a legal document giving you the get out of jail card.

an expungement removes a record

I had a minor conviction back in 1978 when the police showed up at my door and quickly pushed a warrant in my face and walked in....the warrant was not even for my address ....and In court they said I had invited them in to search.....anyways got busted for a piece of stalk and an empty clean fiver vial... . it was thrown out of court by the judge on the first go due to no evidence ...but the crown re-charged me.. based on my statement ....that I knew what it was ....and that it was mine,,,,

I had only said that I knew what the stalk and 5ver was .....because if they continued to look....,there was a chance they could have found the kilo of black hash I had in my room....
I have never even mentioned it on any job applications over the last 40 years...and it has never even come up at any... employer level....and I have worked for the Ontario government go transit ....as well as some other bonded jobs...

I can't see stirring up the shit now....
It should have been a blanket expungement of all cannabis charges then instead of pardon....either way......shame on the government for not doing the right thing....

This legal weed thing is nothing more than a money grab,don't be surprised if these pardons end up costing more money fucking liberals ,Trudeau was not even a good drama teacher let alone a leader,how low do you think he can bring this country down ,He's nothing more than a Cartel leader Canadians drug lord
