Thanks Dropa. I must say, I'm feeling pretty good and accomplished these days. Pretty happy with what I've grown and what I'm smoking these days. Good stuff this life thing can be. How's your new grow room going for you. I know I gotta get by and have a look but how you feeling about it?

The family is jumping on and off the fence for a new dog. We'd love to get another Mastiff but I'm not putting out the coin these people are asking. Never have, never will. My first Mastiff I paid 500 for and my second I got for free. Both as puppies and both as Mastiff as Matiff can be. Saw one guy breeding Douge de Bordeauxs for 500 a piece and is looking to get rid of the sire and he's a beauty but he wants 500 for him too and I'm not paying a guy like that. It's on a farm and the boy's stuck outside with the mother because they have a "precious" Cane Corso in the house. I would have taken him in a minute if he was giving him away. He won't even let go of him until the puppies are gone because people want to see the sire. Not my definition of a dog lover in my opinion.

Grow room is performing quite well or so far so good I should say. Temps been running a solid 80 deg. I'd like it a little lower but it's better than my last grow room that was hitting and avg of 85. Just been kinda tweaking it a bit here and there. My oscillating fan took a dump on me a cpl of days ago. It works but it doesn't oscillate, gonna have to break down and buy another I guess. Other than that I can't complain. Thinking about flipping em in about 3 or 4 days.

I was gonna suggest the mastiff rescue but jig beat me to it. Sucks that they keep their Mastiffs outside. Mastiffs are really pack driven and they need to be with the pack. They can easily get stressed if they're not near or around their master (So I've been told). Mine gets stressed if go out to the mailbox without him. I've been told when I leave the house he does nothing but cry until I return home. Paces back and forth running from window to window to see if I'm back yet.

Hmm maybe you should take pity on him when the litter is gone so he can have a good life where someone will appreciate him instead of banning him from the pack.;-)

Check ya later:peace:.

Yes, we've looked at the rescue thing as well. Sad to say, money is a bit of an issue so even though the money in a rescue situation goes to all the good things like shots and neutering, it's still a pretty penny to put out. This handsome sire that we seen yesterday, Bob, was awesome. Bob just sat there, tied up at his house, and you could see that he wanted nothing more than for us to come see him but we weren't allowed because his master wasn't home, and he just sat there. He did give out a little whimper once and I knew he was looking for loving. My wife can't stop thinking about him and fumes when she thinks about the guy only looking at him as breeding stock. Frankly me too. I mean I understand business, but this guy was no legit business. And your absolutely right Dropa, they do need to be near the pack and hate isolation. My boys, particularly my second, was like yours Dropa, always crying and pacing when left alone. I could see them easily going into a deep depression. They really are just big sucks. Ah well, we'll keep our eyes and ears open, keep a cool composure and, like the other two, the right one will come along.

Who's the little brindle pup in your signature photo Dropa? I think I remember you telling me but...:eyesmoke:

Good to hear your rooms doing well, particularly the temps. I can't wait to get this second 6 up and running, I just can't make up my mind what to put under it?

Actually, after that last question mark I was taken away and since have sat down and decided. I'm going to run all my DB/JTR seeds that I have. I happen to know where there's a nice male that's just ripe with jizz. I'll take cuts from the ladies and start selecting a queen, or two. I have seed from two different mothers. 7 form one and 6 from the other. Fifty fifty should get me a half dozen or so ladies to choose from.

Hmmm? I think there'll be room for a few more then so there's two Dog waiting to go, which is a BB line strain so I think we're just going to HAVE to get them going. I'm missing my Cheeseberry Haze so I'll drop one of them as well. I have a few of them I found on a couple of the ones I grew.

Well that's it then. Simple as that. It's like when your writing a song and that great line of words just comes together. Ahhh! Music to my ears. :-D

That pup is one of his offspring. She was pick of the litter and only had her for about 5 months. I had to move and couldn't keep her. She's in a really good home though. Actually a better home than I could have provided for her. The new owners send me updates on her all the time. I still think about her every day and my boy misses the play time they had together. The only reason I took the pup in the first place was so he could have a playmate. Oh well just wasn't meant to be I guess.

So do you have a room dedicated for males only? I've been wanting to do some breeding myself but I figured you would have to have a room set up pretty far a way from your other plants to do it properly. Wouldn't want em to close together eh?

Yup! That's what she be Don. They were gifted to me along with some DB f2's.

Dropa, I'm not dealing with any yet and haven't planned on it but if I had to I have a nice cabinet ready for him. Right now I'm hoping some will just "blow" my way. ;)

Bekind, thanks for popping by man, good to see you back. I'll get by your thread and see what your up to.

Received my fan and filters today. The courier guy, the regular guy I get when this company is used, says to me, "so what you growing? I grow too." I was a bit dumbfounded but I also know how he knew at the same time so I wasn't gonna play stupid with the guy and gave him a smile and a chuckle. Anyway, he proceeds to tell me that this has been his route for twenty some odd years and that he helps some of the farmers around here. Anyway, a couple of other chit chat words while I signed, about seeds and where he gets them, and then "be good" he says and smiles. In hind sight I wish I handled it a little different, not because I'm concerned because I got an ok feel from the guy, but a little more info from him would have given me a better feel. I'm still planning another order there soon so I'll try to take the opportunity then.

Anyway, the fan is big ass and and inch too big for where I planned to put it. Also, duct work fittings are pricey! It's a frickin piece of sheet metal molded and shaped for FSM sake. 15 bucks just for the 8-6" reducer, then the same for the T or Y that I need, then $35 for 25 feet of flex aluminum. That's almost what I paid for the fan!!

Oh well. I'll figure it out.

Cheers all. :peace:

Yup, that they are. You can really see it in the group shot, you can't miss her. I think these are probably the fattest I've had. They sure take up the elbow room. lol. I'll pop by your grow Tryna and have a look. You've got other HC stuff going too, don't you?

No. I've never used anything like that. Some of those lines are harder for me to get, such as Fox Farms, and when I can it's premium bucks. The only thing I've ever gotten from a hydro store of any kind is my mycor, other than that I'm using a line of liquid nutes available up here that are from a BC company. I just started using it and I'm loving it. All organic. Here's the site. Most of it is common garden variety stuff for your common garden center but the product is premium and there's a couple of good products they have for us.

http://www.orgunique.com/index-7.html

Might as well take this opportunity to go over what I'm using.

First off I'm using a recycled coir and perlite mix, with a bit of vermiculite I threw in there one time. I start seedlings in this mix and then when I'm ready to pot up I fill my large pots and I amend with;

Humik, Rock Phosphate 0-3-0 and mix well. Then I line the hole with mycorrhizae.

Then I water with mix of half dose Bio Fish and half dose of Kelp extract and a half teaspoon of molasses, to feed the little critters. Eventually I back off the kelp and up the Bio Fish. There are two other products I want to get here. One is the Hanging Basket which is a straight across 3-3-3 that I want to use for early to mid flower. It'll increase the P, adding to the slow release Rock Phospate which should be kicking in by now. The other is one not listed here but I got from the company brochure and that is a Root Conditioner. I think these two should round out things nicely for me.

I have been sent some samples of Fox Farm nutes from a member that I plan to try up against this line I'm using now and see how that works out. I think I'm gonna make sure I get to the next expo that comes around for sure if I can score like you did. Then I can try out this pricey stuff and see how it rates.

Here's the mother company to Orgunique. http://www.biofert.net/products.html

Yea, i got a few HC things in there. My next grow i am planning is for 10-15 czars crosses, and 10 -15 of my lush. the czar is a beastly yielder n puts out some pretty colors.

I find there's lots of times I need to refresh my page to get the link to come up. I'm a Firefox user and don't use anything else so I'm not sure if it's browser related but it sure can be a pain in the ass.

I was wondering about the colors on the czars. I know the BSB's are putting out some amazing stuff, and I've got a couple of those going as well, but I wasn't sure about them, or the C4/CB's.

It's when someone posts as you are posting. Their post show's up above yours, but it's not all proper yet, till you refresh. It's an RIU thing.
