Breeders Retail

I wanted to get some chimera seeds for my collection so I researched a bit and found that breeders retail is the only place that sells them. They used to have a forum section at another forum but it has since been archived and the way to reach them is brsales@proton.me and request a seed list similar to doing business with ak bean brains. So I requested 4 packs of seeds and sent funds via their requested Bitcoin method on October 9th. Come October 29th and I received an email from them asking if I had received my seeds yet and I informed them that I have not received anything. No package or customs letter. So Karl told me he would send out a replacement order right away. Seemed like good proactive customer service. It's now November 21st and still no package or customs letter and now Karl is also not responding to emails and my requests for tracking info. I have also received seeds from delicious seeds in Spain that were shipped weeks after these were supposedly sent. Seems unlikely 2 packages would just go missing and not get customs seizure letters either. So far it seems I may have just gotten scammed. I'll update here if anything actually comes through or Karl starts responding to me again. But for now I would recommend not doing business with breeders retail. Just seemed odd. If they're gonna rip me off then why bother following up with me before.

Figured I'd update. December now and still no seeds or reply. Even tried sending messages from another email and got nothing back. So at this point it seems either something has happened to Karl, he's out on some extended leave, or he just scammed and took my money. Luckily it was only about $130. Avoid breeders retail.

That's messed up.

Yeah, I agree. I only went for it cause they were a long time member on icmag a bit ago and I thought they had a good reputation but they've stopped posting there I think.

Don't really know the drama, but from what I understand there was a major rift there earlier this year. Many left, many were tossed. Not sure what's what there anymore.

Well after 3 months of hearing nothing from them I started getting responses from both their email and Instagram accounts when I saw their Instagram account started posting and advertising their email address again for sales. They are saying that due to two deaths in their organization/family they were locked out of email and missed my emails and they do not understand why their second ship did not go through and are saying they will reship again from another location. Still just seems really odd that two times and nothing in the mail, not even a customs letter. I'll update if I actually get some seeds this time.

After 2 more times, for a total of 4 times of giving them my address and them claiming they're reshipping my order all 4 times, still nothing has come. And now his Instagram is ignoring my message. Do not trust you'll get anything with breeders retail or chimera seeds. Both are involved in the shipping and communication, 2 times for each. Chimera has the Instagram account breedingcannabisand breeding cannabis that he operates with and is part of this scam as well.

No, dudes a scammer in my opinion. Claims he sent them 4 times. I never received anything. Not even a customs letter. Then he started accusing me of being the scammer. After communicating with him through email and Instagram, he is such an arrogant ass I probably would have never planted his seeds even if they did ever come.

The least these dirtbags could do is send some bird seed mids that they bought for $20 a pickup load.
It has to be tiring trying to slip and avoid emails from pissed "customers" vs. fresh suckers on the line.

Something odd here, cus im sure those guys shut down. Just double check the email you sent to matches word for word exactly with their official one thay had up about two years back.
Im pretty sure they publicly anouced they were closing a year or two back and did a couple of months extra just to help anyone out before they shut down completley.
Alot of scammers in the game, some craftly change one tiny small thing on a website address or add a space making it look like the official email or website. Best to make sure. If everything is correct then it might be an idea to try to get hold of chimera.

I just double checked, they shut in 2022, and that email youve put up dont look familiar. Im sure their original email was shutdown too. Were did you get the one you have, and have been sending and replying to. Even on insta on their official page their last post were made in 2022.

Same email that the breedingcannabis Instagram account advertises and same email that I used to see advertised on icmag and is who chimera claims to be on his x account and elsewhere. I saw before that they had shut down too, but then they claimed not too long ago they were starting back up.

Either way, whoever is on the other end of this email and Instagram accounts is an arrogant jerk and a scammer.

Chimera hardly ever uses social media, the guy is does big time lab work and research and consultancy. The official breeders retal on insta was breeders_retail. Im sure chimeras is under his proper name.

Breedingcanabis is the same instagram account that breeders_retail tags in their posts. It's chimera.

What beans was you trying to get. Hopefull one of the good guys and generous souls on the site can maybe help you out .

Chrimera has never worked at breeders retail or ever run any of their destribution. All he used to do was supply them seed stock he had made some years back along with some that skunkman had donated to him. Lets hope someone can help put this right.

Thanks I'm good though. I've got plenty of seeds. At the time I just thought it would be cool to add some chimera seeds to my collection.

My communication first started with Karl at breeders retail. Then I posted to chimeras Instagram about being scammed by breeders retail and messages being ignored and chimera said he would handle it himself to make sure I got what I ordered. He also sent nothing and ignored messages until I posted on his Instagram account. At this point after the rude emails and messages I've received from chimera, I could care less if he ever sends any seeds. I've moved on and he is an arrogant tool. The only thing making this right is if they refunded my order money. Which he said he would not do.
